This may be a silly question, but maybe somebody can help me. I have my jawbone linked to SYW account so I usually get $5 a week to spend at Sears. I usually take advantage of these points (they expire so quickly) and place an order, but whenever I log onto my SYW account it always shows that they have expired every week. I usually have other points offers or points in my account, so I’m guessing its using those before my fitstudio points?
Does anybody else have this problem? Its really frustrating…
I think the Fit Studio points expire each week. I do not know how to have the computer differentiate between what is earned from a purchase and what is earned from Fit Studio, so I just try to spend my points every week. Hope this helps.
I think the expired points you are talking about are the points you get everyday when you share via FB or twitter. Total 400 points per day. You can see the expiring points at fitstudio -> my profile -> myrewards. Points in Orange color are the ones expiring soon. Hope it helps.
I’d keep an eye on your points when you log into FitStudio. There is a really good calendar too that shows you when you have points expiring. At the top left, click “my profile”, then choose “my rewards”. Scroll down and you’ll see the calendar.
I have some points that expire every week, but they are like .40 in points. I think it’s because you are active every day and earn points every day. Hope that made sense lol.

Mine never show up in my account, but I have them check at the register before I start shopping and they can tell you what offers you have.

hi, hope this helps— for me they do not show up in the regular place in my account. i have to go to the normal place where i check my points, then there is a box i can click on that says “Surprise Points” and that takes me to a place where it shows special offers, and it also list the terms and any exclusions on each of those offers, including surprise points offers. (i haven’t tried checking on phone, only laptop.)

I texted STOP and re-sent GIFTMOM. I provided the email address linked to my account when prompted. I logged into my account and the $10/20 was loaded. HTH
it is there already when you go to pay at register, if you got the offer in a text or email no extra steps necessary, they already gave them to you and put them in your account. if you say you want to use points when you are at the checkout, the cashier can apply them. (if you are skeptical, you could pretend you are going to order something online, then go to checkout and see points there, and see if they show up to offset your balance.)

Keep in mind that you have to spend $30 from pocket to get the $20 in points.

The surprise points come off automatically on your order. It depends what your offer says. Some are for both and some are only for either Sears or Kmart. When you click on the offer it should say for what store they will work with.

I received $10 surprise points on $20 purchase. Unfortunately it’s only for Sears. It’s much easier to find items to buy at Kmart since they sell grocery items.

yes, you can personalize it next time you go to leave a comment. there is a link that says “Gravatar.com” right above the box where you type the text you want to say, before you click on the link that says “post comment”.

I’ve been getting a ton of surprise points lately! The thing is I don’t have any kmart stores in the area and sears is far away, so I use my points online. I have the SYW max trial membership which is supposed to have free shipping, but most items I see on the shop your way site only ship free if the order total is over $30. I’ve only found a few items which actually ship free. Do you all know of any way of sorting on the SYW site to only see free shipping? Or any other tips? TIA!
To get the free shipping with MAX, you can sort by category on the left side of each page to find things that are MAX eligible. The general rule as far as I have experienced is that you will automatically get free shipping if your individual item is over $10, or if you buy multiples of a cheaper item to get the total over $10 (like 2 of the same towel that costs $5.99). If you only have items that are less than $10, like a $4 book and a $8 toy, the free shipping won’t kick in until you reach $30. Experiment with that a little and see if it works for you, but also MAKE SURE you are signed in before you go to the checkout page or it won’t show free shipping for you because it doesn’t know you have MAX. Hope this is helpful! 🙂
