Walgreens: Earn 10 Balance Rewards Points for EVERY $1 Spent (All the Way Through 12/31/2017)
Walgreens shoppers! Sign into your Balance Rewards account on Walgreens.com (OR just open up the app on your mobile phone) to snag a very SWEET offer valid for 10 FREE points for every $1 spent all the way through December 31st, 2017! To find this offer online, just click on the “Weekly Ad and Coupons” tab, then select “Browse Coupons” and you should see this offer to clip to your card. Note that just a few exclusions apply, but most items in the store will work for this points promo.
Now 10 points may not sound like a lot… however, it sure will add up over the next basically 2 1/2 years! 🙂
(Thanks, Tracy!)
Awesome thank you. I buy milk at my local walgreens 2 times a week. My kids drink so much of it I can’t keep up.
Actually there are exclusions on the points. One of them being Dairy. You also can’t redeem/earn points on alcohol, stamps, tobacco etc.
Dang – all my favorites! 🙂
Well that sucks that is all I buy there. Lol
Had to link my membership, then got the message that I couldn’t clip the coupon at this time. Logged off and back in and now it’s gone? o.O
Got it, thank you. I also had 5k in points when you spend $20.
False alarm, I suppose. ^^ I clicked under my clipped Q’s and found the offer listed under my loaded coupons. Anyone able to tell me if WAGS paperless Q’s are able to be stacked with Manufacturer’s Q’s? Please and TY!
Rachel – The Load to card coupons (paperless) will say on each coupon if it is a Manufacturer or store coupon. You can stack a paper manufacturer coupon with a load to card (paperless) store coupon. You Can NOT stack a paper manufacturer coupon with a manufacturer load to card (paperless) coupon. Hope this helps….
How many points do you get now? Is this a booster coupon that gives you an additional 10 per $1? Is it long term or a one time use?
Before today you only received points on certain products that changed weekly or monthly and prescriptions.
Terezia – for each purchase, you will earn points on eligible products (just a few exclusions) for ALL of your purchases from now untill 12/30/2017. I have made several transactions and each time the bonus BRP (balance reward points) have accummulated. The points are based on subtotal after WAG coupons but before Manufacturer coupons. Also, I think the same rules apply with redeeming points.. which is that you can NOT earn BRP when you redeem BRP.
Hope this helps…
Thanks, maybe I’ll start going to Wags again for some small items.
Where are the exclusions?
The items u dont earn points on usually. These are alcohol, tobacco, dairy, stamps, moneyorders, lottery tickets & phone/giftcards. 🙂
you know who started really!!! cool rewards program too? Chili’s!You get 60 points to sign up online or even better in store on their little computers, and then you get a point for every dollar you spend. 30 points will get you free chips, 60- dessert, with 120 points you can get a whole dinner plate. there will be xtra ways to earn points too! if you love chili’s like i do, you should try it!
As a parent to 2 kids, I was sad to see the e-club replaced by this points system. Chilis was sending out via email free coupons for either a kids meal, or dessert or apetizer with adult meal on at least a monthly basis. 1 free kids meal is now 45 points so I have to spend 45 dollars 1st to get 1 ( not 2 for both of my kids) for my child to eat free. Simply out of my budget now to eat there.
Thank you Ladies. Got it!!!
Thanks hip2 save….and you’re right over the next couple years this is going to be great…you’re buying things already…only thing I guess you won’t earn when you’re using points to pay…but that’s ok.
I don’t shop at Walgreens anymore unless there is a really hot deal on something I use. I always run into some problems at the register and the cashiers and managers at my Walgreens are not the friendliest. I just avoid going there altogether.
thanks for posting this!
It really sounded like a one time use by the wording. Can anyone verify one way oor the other?
I posted earlier about it, but, I have this loaded to my card and have made 4 transactions over 3 days now and have earned “Everyday Points” on EACH and EVERY purchase that I have made.
Not in my list of coupons.
i dont find the coupon
Not available to me, either. 🙁
Not available to me.
Try a different city if you couldn’t find the coupon. I found it by typing in a neighboring city, Daly City. The coupon is still there after I changed my location back to San Francisco.
Walgreens is quick to point out how your points can be used, but NOT how many points you earn per dollar spent, etc. Answer: Not much. Try to find it on their website. I couldn’t.
