So last night I was in a hurry and dealing with a very unpleasant wags cashier (I usually avoid this store because of this particular cashier). I wasn’t watching stuff ring up and when I got home realized that none of my covergirl makeup rang up B1G1 1/2 off and didn’t get the advertised rewards points either. Are there usually exclusions are anything with their makeup deals?

Yes, The handled cups are included in the $3.99 sale. And yes, it will ONLY work if the manufacture coupon is scanned first. If the store coupon is used first it will lower the item price to $1.99, and the $2/1 or $3/1 will beep. IF you have the $1/1 or $1.50/1 coupon then the order does not matter.
Can you help? I just went to Walgreens and the playtex deal didn’t work. We did 3 at first all the way down to one. I only had 3 items. The first transaction they were 3.99 and the second they were 1.99. We did manufactures coupons first and then store may book but I wouldn’t take the May book. The cashier was nice enough to try different ways and nothing. The second coupon won’t be able to be used. How come it didn’t work? The price didn’t adjust.
If they were ringing up at $1.99 it means the store coupon was already applied to the transaction. That it why it wouldn’t take it again. Unless the entire transaction was voided by a manager the store coupon would still be on there.
I went to Walgreens today, and got 4 cups at $3.99 each, used four $3/1 MQ’s. I had no problems with the store coupon. I also had other items in my transaction for the overage to go towards. The store coupon will adjust.
What is the value of the coupons you have to use?
They did 3 diff transactions and prices were different at each. They always rang up the May book last. I didn’t have anything then so it didn’t adjust but I went to a different Walgreens today and figured that was best to do so I bought some candy. The issue we had today was the same. The registered wouldn’t want to take all items and coupons together so we had to end up doing 3 different transactions. My value was $2.00 so it was exact. The last 2 transactions were weird. At first the May book wouldn’t take and the cashier refused it so I said cancel it and nvm but then she took it off and try scanning it again and somehow it took. I always end up having issues with Walgreens and coupons. Thanks for your reply I was able to get all 5 items for baby shower next weekend for less than 4 bucks even after all the driving and hassle.

I’m thinking now that the cups rang up $1.99 after the walgreens coupon. I had a lot of trouble getting these. Initially tried to use the $2 off manufacture coupon and then $2 walgreens coupon (as suggested in Collin’s blurb). The walgreens coupon would not work at all. Then I tried doing with the $1.50 manufacture coupons. When she rang it up this time they rang up at $1.99 but she must have scanned the walgreens coupon book first. I ended up paying $3.08 for four. I typically ask my cashiers to not scan anything until I hand it to them. If they scan the store coupon first the manufacture coupon will be more then the item and will beep.

I got 2 sippy cups this morning using 2 $3/1 MQ. The cashier told me it wouldn’t work to use the store coupon as well, even though I was pretty sure it would, at the very least, adjust down. She eventually agreed to scan it just to see, and sure enough, it went through. And because I was buying a few extra items, the overage applied to the rest of my order. All in all, I got 2 sippy cups, a bag of Doritos, and three packs of Orbit gum, and paid around $2.00 before tax. So glad the cashier agrreed to scan! Thanks a bunch!

I don’t shop at walgreens because of unfriendly cashier & clueless managers. In the morning I went there to buy these sippy cups & few other stuff. I had two coupons for sippy cups & the manager asked me did you copy these?? Really!!I would never even think about it. I told him you can print 1 coupon twice per browser depending on the coupon. I just try to save money on needed items buying 1 or 2 is this wrong? They should enroll these people in some education classes.
You can always complete the customer satisfaction survey at the end of your receipt to pass your concerns on to management.

And two .75/1 Scott coupons. No beeps. My total was now $14.43. Then I had cashier scan the store playtex coupon which took off $10! and the scott one – $2 after coupons my total was only $2.43 $1.79 in tax! My cashier refused to take my coupon let alone even try my coupon. Not very happy either, my crest coupons beeped and they were item for item so I basically walked out of the store with half my stuff and lost my RR.
Not sure anyone will see this since it’s late in the week. Why couldn’t you use 2 of the $1/2 coupons on this deal? So for all after bogo and coupons, 3.98 total? what am I missing.

Total for all after the BOGO free = $5.98

Final cost $4.98 total, just 41¢ per bar of soap!
Walgreens Official coupon policy doesn’t allow a coupon to be used on a “free” item. However it is up to the stores manager. If you use a $1/2 coupon on a bogo free item it won’t beep. hth.
