Last time I used this coupon at Fry’s (Kroger), they just put the full amount through.
I just got overage on this, plus free eggs. It was $2.49 at my Kroger.
They told me at my store the coupon was fake. Used it at Walmart but no free eggs.

It crashes our computers. Our computer tech guy said these printers are full of viruses and he is right! I didn’t listen and downloaded it on my Mac desktop and it crashed just like my other computer. I love my Mac laptop too much I can’t crash it!
I have had coupon printers installed on multiple computers since 2008 and have never had a virus. I run a tight ship security-wise and have never had a problem. My friend’s husband is a computer tech and they have coupon printing software installed on all their computers as well.
My son is a techie as well. He said it sounds like something beyond a printer program issue.
I don’t know. That’s what he said and that’s what keeps happening. They were brand new computers too. One Mac and one hp.
I’m sorry Kristen. As silly as this may sound – I just can’t imagine not being able to print coupons ever. I go crazy when I’ve had a broken printer waiting for my replacement. I can send you one of my coupons if you’d like.

If it’s any consolation, Macs are less prone to viruses since they aren’t as widely used as Windows-based computers. That said, it doesn’t sound like a virus. You might want to check RedPlum’s system requirements against your computers.

I wondered that, too. It’s from redplum.com, though and prints out looking completely legit. I *think* the reason for such a high value is because of all the stuff out lately on why people should be eating real butter instead of spreads and margarine. I love this spread, though, and am SO happy to have this high value coupon to use. Thanks so much, Collin!

I think they want it to be free for consumers, and since most stores won’t take a free printable, they worded it this way. It says “up to $3.75” which should cover the price in most regions.

Thank you! It printed TWICE without any problems on 5/24 @ 12:20pm PST. The coupon is legit, from Redplum, and you’re allowed to use two in a single shopping trip according to the fine print.

Keeping my fingers and toes crossed? 🙂 Honestly, I don’t know. I’m using IE 11 and their new-ish printer software from April 2014. The help center page at Redplum is pretty helpful and even features a test print function. I’d recommend reinstalling Redplum’s latest software, restarting your computer and printing a test coupon. Good luck!
I agree. Make sure everything is up to date. Their new print software and make sure your Java is up to date. Restart computer and try only using IE or maybe Firefox. Google is a hit and miss with me though it has been acting better lately with certain coupons.

My Kroger in SC won’t allow printed coupons that exceed the price of the item. Too bad for me.
It’s worded, UP TO $3.75 on the coupon. So it’s not exceeding the price, they may just take off price it’s rings for.
Does anyone know if Giant Food Stores do overage? I’d love to be able to apply the overage to the rest of my groceries but I’m not sure. I know walmart does overage but I’ve also heard if the coupon beeps they won’t push it through whereas giant is much more friendly with pushing coupons through.
your lucky if you get a second coupon doubled at giant. if you want a deal wait a week or so until weis has it on sale as they double up to $1 at my stores
FYI—- went to use a Dawn coupon and the company has now put a “Trial Size” stamp on what was there regular size bottle! Got to use the coupon on a floral scent that was the SAME size. Love my Dawn but they are not playing nice !

I used 4 at my local frys and had other things on my cart and was able to use overage didn’t beep or nothing !!!
I tried to use it at Kroger with overage, but they denied it because if you read the fine print (which she did) it says no cash back. I think they consider items in your basket as cash back/overage? She said Kroger does not give overage, which I’m not sure is actually correct, but did give me the full value of the butter of $1.99 off. So I need to shut my mouth and stop being GREEDY and be happy I got it free along with the dozen eggs! Awesome deal. The wording on this coupon was a tad bit different this time. I think they were intending us to get it for FREE without saying that since some stores reject FREE coupons, especially printables.

I went to Walmart tonight and I was gonna use this coupon and the item I was getting was $2.88 and Walmart wouldn’t take the coupon because the amount of the coupon exceeded he product amount. I was so disappointed!
walmart wont take it since it is an internet printed coupon over $1.00 (according to the store mgr)

Kroger told the coupon was a fake! Took it to Walmart and used it with overage no problem.
I’m conflicted on whether or not to use this coupon. Some say their stores tell them it is fake and same are ok to use at their store. Wonder why Kroger said it was fake.
