Nevermind, missed the amazon mom part.
So can someone explain Amazon mom vs Amazon prime? I have prime. Do I need to that a mom subscription for these deals? If so, do I need to have prime too? If I only have Amazon mom, will I still get prime shipping on most of the items that are offered on the prime subscription or just mom/baby stuff? If someone wants to email me that’s awesome too! Princess_Sweetie101@hotmail.com Ty!!
Amazon mom is free for me since I have prime. Not sure if it is free without prime.
I just spoke with someone from Amazon and they said you have to be signed up with Prime and then you can sign up for Amazon Mom for free. Under the Amazon Mom subscription you get 20% off diapers. I thought you signed up for one or the other, but I was wrong. Hope this helps!
Thanks everyone!
I was wondering about the sanitary/cleanliness of the diapers after opening the package and handling them to=make these cakes, is that an issue or nothing to be worried about
I’ve done the cakes and received them. I’ve never had any worries. But, to make is seem “cleaner”…. The dollar tree makes shrink bags. Make the cake decorate it, then put it in the shrink bag. It will keep it together also.
They look like this https://www.dollartree.com/party-supplies/gift-wrap-bags-accessories/Shrink-Wrap-Bags-with-Pull-Bows/574c590c590p25448/index.pro
I guess that depends on the cleanliness of the person putting it together. And how they choose to transport it. I’m making one this week… I cleaned all surfaces the diapers would touch and I plan to cover it with a clean sheet and transport it.
Thank you! Just found out I’m going to a grandma so it’s never too early to start buying diapers!
The Luv’s brand was even cheaper!!! 9 cents a diaper
New mom here! Due Oct. and I am CLUELESS when it comes to diaper prices! I have read that .13-.14/diaper is the max anyone should pay considering all the deals and coupons out there. How do you mom’s like Amazon moms? Is it worth it or do you find similar deals elsewhere? Any advice is appreciated! Thanks guys!
Hi Chelsie, Amazon mom and subscribe and save have been cheaper for my two sons. I get each of them a large box of diapers delivered once a month. After the 20% discount each box is around 36$ after tax. It’s automatically debited from your account and guaranteed to arrive around the same time every month. You will just need to remember to update your sizes as your little one grows. I also get emails with additional discounts for updating and randomly at different times of the year. Depending on the size you ordering you can do the math to figure out how much you can save. (This size one box has 252 and at my local stores a pack of 28 is 10.99. You would buy about 9 individual bags spending about 98$!! Some months I may need to buy an extra bag but it’s definitely worth it. Hope this helps and congrats on your little one =D
Hi Chelsie! One of the most important things that I learned about diapers as a brand new mom was that all diaper brands do not work equally, and your little one has to be here and you have to try it out to know what makes you and the baby’s tender skin happy. For example, I bought a couple of packs of Huggies since I got a deal, and they just did not work. The diaper stayed dry and my newborn was soaked! Made me very upset. Since then I realized what works for us is Pampers Baby Dry and Walgreens brand. So my suggestion would be that you get a few different types of diapers, see what you like best once baby is here, and then look for deals for those brands. Sure you may pay a little more upfront, but it really saves you the hassle of having to go make returns when you have a brand new baby you’d rather focus on.
Good point NN!! Huggies leaked for me too :/
Thanks ladies, I appreciate the feedback!
