Dropprice is an innovative startup that rewards moms for being social by empowering moms to drop the prices of kids and baby products with a simple click. AND the price continues dropping as more moms click “Drop the price”. Every week, new promotions are launched and moms drop prices by sharing them on social media. See the chart below to understand the power moms have:

As an example, moms can head here and click to “Drop the price” of the VTech Alphabet Train. This train started out at $49.99 and for each mom that clicks, the price drops a bit. The price will continue to drop for each mom that participates until it reaches $25 (50% off).

You can choose to share on social media to get more moms to click “Drop the price”, or you can “Buy Now” at the current price. Keep in mind that if the price gets too low, the item may sell out and you will no longer have the chance to buy that item. When items sell out, they are gone. AND every item on Dropprice ships for FREE!

I ordered this today and was excited as the counter showed two (2) remaining for this product. It was only $5.00 less than Walmart’s price (the lowest found) and I decided to get it. I felt cheated when the price kept dropping down and then magically the counter showed three (3) for sale. Emailed the company but they didn’t really say anything about the “tricky scheme”. I would have gladly waited till it’s absolute lowest price but who knows when it’s gonna expire as the counter never really shows the correct number. Boo!

Thanks Lynn for your comment and we appreciate your input. Users have the freedom to purchase whenever they are happy with the price. The quantity available is not always exact because it takes some time to update based on the inventory of our suppliers. We appreciate your business!

      • Lynn l

Yes, thanks Jimmie. That is EXACTLY what you said when I emailed you. You didn’t even change it up to respond here. If you posted the actual number for sale (with countdown), it wouldn’t even be a problem. BUT changing it to get Mothers to order thinking this will sell out is just wrong!!!

        • Dropprice Support

Hey Lynn, the actual number available may vary especially if there are cancelled orders that our system will add back to the total quantity remaining as occurred with this promotion. Inventory management is not an exact science and we are constantly trying to improve. We do our best to make our customers happy and appreciate you feedback!

Hmmm. So it sounds like this program really only saves you a few dollars more than mass discount retailer like WM. So all those moms that paid more than WM shelf price got higher price for buying early on. Only a “few” will get lower due to unknown inventory level. How can we find out how many people ACTUALLY paid less than, say, Walmart? Are numbers posted, vetified?

    • cautiousshopper

*verified. Case&point, the vtech alpha train is $32 at WM, i can ship to store free and i don’t have to be shopper 400 or whatever to get a price lower than $49. In fact, if i buy within first few hundred, i pay MORE!

Sweet!! I was able to pick one up, free shipping, for $25.72!
