Hello there fellow couponers!!! I just took advantage of this offer and signed up for the prime/mom membership as a close friend of mine is in a very bad situation right now and on top of everything else, she just found out she’s having a baby. She’s absolutely terrified about not being able to give the baby what it needs bc of finical issues. This women has overcome so much, from learning disabilities when she was young to opiate addiction as an adult and so much in between. She just graduated from college and is trying to start her career but isn’t having the best of luck. And now she’s expecting a baby!!! I gave her my word that I would help her with getting as much stuff as I can for baby…so my reason for posting…is there any other free deals like this from Amazon? I’m trying to gather as much as I can so if you know of other great deals like this, please please share. And if you find an offer that you won’t use and would be willing to send it our way, it would be much appreciated!!! No sex yet, so she’s going for a neutral tone but will not be picky!! Thanks in advance guys!!

I think it’s awesome that you want to help her out! Here’s a great tip. Sign up with http://www.cottonbabies.com and they will send you emails when they have seconds sales on cloth diapers. These are new diapers that doesn’t meet standards but I’ve always been happy with them and they have lasted through multiple children. Buying a set of 24 diapers will last her a long time. $7 a cover plus $2 a cotton flat is just over $200 to diaper a baby from 2 months to 3 years.

really betty?? did you find anything by doing a google search of me? other then i really live at that address and my name is really Jen Trimble? i am trying to help a woman out that is in a dire spot right now and you want to run your mouth about something you obviously do not have a clue about??!! you could have at least addressed me before making your ignorant and very unnecessary comment. didnt your mother ever teach you, if you don’t have anything nice to say, don’t say anything at all? did you even take time to read what i’m asking for??? im asking for people to share any other offers they know of OR sign up and have an offer sent if they see it and will not use it. I’m not asking for money or even anything that would cost someone more then their time! Have you not checked out this thing called the internet lately? I can find your address, phone number, email address, family members names, numbers and locations, where you work or go to school, what places you shop at, what places you eat at, all your birth dates…and if i go to this site called facebook, oh well, let the personal information fly. so who the h*ll cares if i post my address here??? if i even get a free sample packet of diaper rash ointment that will be worth sharing my address.

    • Dion F.

Jen, I ordered mine and had it shipped it to you as a gift. Amazon says it will arrive July 1-3. Good luck to your friend-Dion

      • jen

Thank you ever so much!!! I cannot believe the overwhelming responses I got!!! I first logged in and only seen one negative comment and it upset me..so I was thrilled to see the others!! Im going to dig up as many deals as I can and then give it to Mommy all at once. I will be sure to share a pic on hip2saves facebook!!! I have until nov to collect for her so I’m excited to see what coupon offers and freebies can really do for us!!! Thank you all so much for joining into help, it melts my heart. I always try so hard to help others out, so with this situation, to know no one else is helping her is kinda crappy. She’s come so far and I want to be able to help make this as easy on her as possible and hope she can stay on the amazing path she’s been on. My fellow couponers, you are all amazing!!!!

    • j

Honestly, i saved by breastfeeding, but my friend could not due to her own situation, so i suggest the same to you; contact the companies of products you may use and let them know your interested in samples. Many times they send samples, coupons, free item vouchers, or you can sign up for their programs which do the same. Run “baby” search on this blog, there’s been very useful info passed between moms and friends about this. Best of luck 😉

      • jen

I didn’t even think to even check the blog on here!!! To be honest I never even thought about the blog being informative!! I just come here and click on stores and check the regular wall feed!! I don’t think this will be an option for patti bc of the medicine she is on. Sounds weird, but it kind of is…Im going to set up an email account and go through and sign up for whatever baby stuff I can find!!! will def check out the blog too! thank you!!!!

    • Kailey

This is a great thing your doing for your friend. I will try to help you out as much as I can.

      • jen

anything is appreciated, free samples, coupons, whatever. i want to show this lady what couponers can do!!!!! esp on a non existing budget 😉 thank you so much for your help!!!!!!

    • Zoey

I’m sorry I did not see your message before signing up for the formula. I won’t be needing it, planning on giving it away also. So when I receive this formula I will ship it to your address. Also I have playtex baby bottles, diapers and wipes. I will get it together and ship it to you when the formula come.

      • Pat

You guys are so awesome for helping each other. I am so glad I belong to this community.

      • jen

Thank you Zoey!! That is super kind of you!!!! I will be collecting as much as i can through couponing and samples so I will post a pic on hip2saves fb before giving it to patti so everyone can check out what couponers can do!!! thanks again, and i look forward to receiving your items and adding them to what seems to be a growing pile!!!!

    • Rebecca

Jen, I sent you mine as well.

      • jen

thank you rebecca!!! you guys have made me cry! you are all so awesome to have stepped forward and helped out a stranger. its so nice to know that its worth pushing through and being kind and helpful to others, bc there are other people still trying too. I cannot wait to share all this Patti. Thanks again!!!

    • LENKA

Have your friend check into the WIC (Women, infant and children) program. They provide free formula and cereal, as well as other foods for the pregnant mom and baby.

      • lenkaj1111

It is a nutritional program ran by the federal government for pregnant moms and children up to age 5. It is income based, but you can be moderate income and still qualify for the program. A family of two can make up to $567 a week and still qualify.

        • jen

do you happen to know how early you can apply for wic?

    • Alice

Just sent to u Jen. God bless u as u try to bless ur friend! God has a way of providing. If He gave his Son, Jesus, what wouldn’t He be willing to provide!

    • Alice

Also, after giving birth, ask the hospital for samples and whenever you go to the pediatrician, ask for samples! I have asked for samples of formula, baby aspirin/Tylenol, body wash and lotion for LO’s eczema. A friend said she asked her doctor for prenatal vitamins and got a bunch.

      • jen

Ive had several people ask around here when the babies are born about diaper bags or formula or bottles, whatever, and they never have anything. ive given those coupons you can print out or they send out with samples and still no luck!! i will be sure to tell patti though, just in case!!! Good thinking about the baby drs though!!! thanks so much for sharing!!!!

    • ert

I would like to bring up the idea of adoption. It may (I don’t know her, obviously) be a beautiful option for her!

      • jen

I’m pretty sure she isn’t 100% opposed to it if she has the baby and things would start going downhill. I feel weird talking to her about that as its something so personal. I wouldn’t want someone getting in my business unless I asked for it, so that’s all I really know on that topic. Thank you for your input though 🙂

    • Nikole

I sent one to you as well i my self have alot of trouble affording formula so i understand your friends situation but i use enfamil so do not need this sample but a quick tip i email the enfamil manufacturer every other week to see if they are willing to give any samples and i have gotten several saving us alot of money. She should try that

      • jen

You can email them that often??? I will certainly do that!! Thank you so much for sending the formula!! She’s going to be getting several cans so this is awesome!!!! I will be sharing a pic on hip2saves fb of whatever items i can gather for patti from couponing and free samples!! thanks again!!!

  12. Christina

Jen-Sent mine to you as well.

    • jen

thank you so much christina!!!! i am overwhelmed by the response i got! i wasnt expecting that at all! i will be posting pics of what i can come up with from coupons and freebies, on hip2saves fb page before giving it to Patti! thanks again, youre awesome!!!

  13. rose

sorry but if you don’t need it or if you don’t know someone who needs it, would appreciate if you did not just submit for an order 🙁 only because gerber does NOT send free samples. i have called to ask. they also do not have a ton of sales on this formula in stores so we sign up for amazon and pay the fee because they are cheaper than getting it in the stores. my LO used to be on enfamil and i see so many sales for that but bcs she has such bad gas issues on enfamil/similac, we can only use gerber.

    • angela

I’ve never purchased a Gerber tub of formula for over $20. When I am not sent a coupon from Gerber, I will take advantage of Target gift card promos which run monthly. This month I went the Amazon route and had 15% from subscribe and save plus 15% off coupon. Came to about $17 per tub after discounts. Babies r us has them in a twin pack for $44. Still cheaper than buying individually.

    • Becky

Actually Gerber is one of the cheaper formulas. They have $3 coupons available on coupons.com all the time. And Target just had $6 coupons available. So when you stack those coupons at Target, plus do the GC deal, it’s way cheaper than the other formulas.

      • rose

i’ve only seen it for soothe for coupons.com. the $6 target coupon is the first i’ve seen it and we’ve been on it for a good number of months. i always see enfamil though! usually the enfamil checks i get are $5 off and then there are the discounts at target

  14. nicole

For some reason it keeps telling me the promo code can’t be applied. am i doing something wrong? I am a amazon mom member

    • rose

nicole, try contacting amazon 🙂 they have really good customer service usually

    • Jen

Same here?!? I gave up trying to figure it out…

      • Maddie

I am expecting twins and this would be a great help! If you don’t have a need for it and would be willing to ship it to me, please email me at megcharleston @ gmail.com and I’ll give you my address. Thank you all! – Megan

  22. Elaine

Please consider the rules of the promotion : “To redeem, you must be an Amazon Mom member who is expecting your little one in the upcoming months.” Supplies are limited and it bums me out to think that there might be ladies who actually are new moms who pay to be Mom/Prime members who won’t get to take advantage of this because of all the people on here panhandling for free formula.

    • betty

There are people collecting. See above posts

    • Val

Elaine, keep your negativity to yourself. There is nothing wrong with a soon-to-be mom (of twins nonetheless!) asking other Amazon Mom members who aren’t going to use their rightful free formula to donate it to them if they wish. It’s called community. It’s called goodwill. No one is being harmed. No need to try and shame someone for asking for help or to call them names like a “panhandler”. Take a breather and stop trying to be better-than.

      • Elaine

Asking people to read the rules of the promotion is “negativity”? Okay.

        • Zoey

we all pay to be a prime member, it is to our privilege to receive free stuff when Amazon has offer. Also the gerber promotion has constantly running and only OFFER ONE FREE CAN to each member. For those who already claim won’t be able to do so anymore. So my point is the formula is going to be use to feed a baby in need, whether it’s our baby or not, that’s not important.

  23. visitor3

Call Enfamil and Similac and get on their free mailing lists for tons of free samples.

  24. Viv

I think similac also sends out some big maybe even full size samples when you join their free club.

Got mine. Thanks, Collin. I’ve gotten so much free similac and enfamil from being a part of their free clubs. I rarely pay over $20 for big tubs of formula, because of coupons and sales.
