Be careful with this type of airline. They are just like Spirit Airlines. Yes, the tickets are cheap but the baggage fees and other various fees will end up costing you the same, is not more than the other guys. Check ticket prices on Tuesdays. For domestic flights, check about 6 weeks prior. Never book far in advance or really close. Just my 2 pennies….
Completely agree with you. The price is almost the same as JetBlue but without the extras (free checked bag, carry-on, seat assignment, drinks and snacks).
Jet Blue announced today they will start charging bag fees.
Terrible! Jetblue is my fave. Now, they’re like everyone else.
Also try checking out allegiant air. I fly out of Orlando to concord with them almost every 3 months and always have a good experience. Yes you do have to pay pretty expensive bag fees but I manage to use a small backpack as a carry on which is enough room for the stuff I need for 4 days and never pay any fees 🙂 I’ve gotten round trip tickets for $73, all fees included.
We just flew with Allegiant recently and they were awesome! We highly recommend them!

They have the worst customer service by far. And like everyone else said, they charge you for everything. I personally love Southwest because of the free bags and low change fee.
The greatest tool to search for cheapest tickets, it gives an option to select an entire month for lowest tickets. It saved my family a lot. Run by Google. Here you go!

Frontier has the worst customer service. I had a nightmare experience with them two years ago and wrote them a letter about how all 4 of my flights for that week were awful and I did not get a response from them! The only remotely nice person I reached was through the 24hr 800 number..after waiting 1 hour and 25 minutes on hold, but unfortunately they couldn’t help me.
Contact your travel agent! They will help you when things go wrong on your flights.

Yes, the website was a hassle, and it’s annoying to have to pay twice for a round trip flight. But, thanks so much for posting about this because I wouldn’t have known otherwise! I’m the only family member that lives out of state and I was able to book a non-stop flight home (including seat fees) for $112 round trip (AUS/ORD) which is AMAZING! The carry on fees are outrageous, but since I’m going home I’ll just back a tote bag and put my purse in it! Thanks again!
