And check out this email From Andrea regarding her recent Target One Spot find:I recently splurged a bought some Teavana teas. I absolutely love my Teavana teas but I refused to pay over $6 per tea storage tin. I was so excited when I went to Target and spotted cute glass containers with screw-on lids in their One Spot. They cost $1 each and have an area that fits the Teavana labels perfectly (I was able to peel the labels off the paper packaging easily and reused them on my containers). The glass containers from Target keep my teas fresh and I’m thrilled that I didn’t have to spend so much on storage containers. I actually like my Target containers better than the metal tins Teavana offers.

I was just there! But only looked for toys

Such a cute idea with the tea storage jars! I think they look MUCH better than the Teavana options, yours are very elegant and chic!

Just remember the life of the tea is drastically shortened when stored this way. Tea should be kept in an an airtight container and it shouldn’t be exposed to light. I also love Teavanna and keep an eye out for their storage tins to go on sale and then pay $1.75-2.50 but for what the tea coats it’s worth a more expensive container to protect it if need be.

Tea needs to be stored in air tight and protected from the light. It alters the health benefits with exposure. Glass containers are not recommend.

  4. shelie

Maybe she stores them in a dark cupboard.

    • Julie

That’s what I do with mine. Stored in a dark cupboard glass containers are just fine. No need to spend the extra $ on expensive storage tins.

  5. Casey

You get a discount with the Teavana can. That’s why I bought one 🙂

  6. Amanda

I use the Smuckers ice cream topping in Better Than $ex cake!

Lol, I feel the same way after my toy stop;-0

teavana told me that storing my tea in glass jars will cause it to go bad within a week. I have always bought their tins, which say 1 year freshness…..recently a whole 70$ worth of chai went rotten/moldy/stinky in my large teavana tin. I’m not sure why but it was very very sad

Anyone else having trouble logging into Cartwheel? Tried both on tablet and iPhone and itbkeeps looping back to sign in page. 🙁

    • Jessica

I ve been having problems with it too

    • Just Me

Yes! I was at target and it wouldn’t log on but did allow me to see my barcode

    • Nancy

I went to Target Monday and had the same problem. The app never opened while I was at the store or when I got home. It’s working now, but I noticed that I have to have my CW app open before I even get in the store or it will never work.

I have been waiting for the 70% Patio furniture I have literally been to both local Targets 3x a week for the past two weeks because my stores are so random with their sales. I finally was able to get the items I wanted today, but I still had to go to both stores to find them.

    • Shopper

Cartwheel app does include a widget for the barcode, put on a desktop screen of phone and the barcode will also show never need to open app aND works without internet. Also can take a screenshot of barcode from app or online, keep pic on phone then it’s always there without internet..note have items added first.

Thanks everyone. I’m at home and can’t log into the apps on my tablet and iPhone. But just tried desktop version on tablet and was able to use through Chrome to at least add some offers. Still acting a bit wonky though. Better print out barcode just in case app doesn’t work in store.

Have been trying for a few hours to open my Cartwheel app. I seem to have this problem when there is a good discount going on.

If anyone does the Starbucks rewards and earn a free drink they can also use it for teavana tea that’s what I do

Why is it that you have a store gift card but the redcard 5% wont take?
