Kohls makes my head hurt. Went to the store – apparently you can’t use discounts with Kohl’s cash? The woman at the register wouldn’t even try it. Transaction had already gone through so I took it up to customer service and ended up returning it there. And they gave me a merchandise credit. Totally not in a “we realize this is silly but here’s a way around it” but in a legitimate “here is a credit for your return”. What??
Kohls deducts Kohls Cash first then takes any other discounts off the remainder. Kohls Cash is the equivalent of 20% cash back on the $50 purchase you originally made to get the Kohls Cash.
Yup. They deduct $ of first (whether it’s KC or Y2Y rewards) THEN % of the remainder. Always been that way as far as I remember.
The cashier was wrong. Kohl’s always allows discount w/ Kohl’s cash.
I’m hoping these are as cute on as they are in the pic. I ordered one in sz S and one in sz M since it’s hard to determine sizing. I’m grateful my local Kohl’s is so easy with returns.
You can use the discounts with Kohls cash. But the Kohls cash will be deducted first, so if you don’t have a balance left, then there is nothing more to discount. Is that what happened?
