I have used these for our tupperware for about 6 years now. I love that they can go from the fridge to the microwave or oven ( love them for freezer cooking!) and they are bpa free. Still look as brand new as the day I bought them except some fading on the lids since I put them in the dishwasher.
You can buy replacement lids fairly reasonable on pyrexware.com. However, I don’t recommend buying replacement glass ware there. It is NOT the same – its a green-bluish glass instead of clear. When I googled the reason for the tinted glass it said it was a cheaper glass. If you buy the Pyrex sets at a store, it will be the stronger clear glass.

As a price comparison this set is $15.49 on amazon. I do love the fact that they are glass and do not contain the harmful chemicals of plastic. We have the snap and lock ones and I love them.

Does anyone know if after heating something up in these in the microwave, does the glass get very hot? i’ve had that problem with other brands. The glass getting way too hot but the food only so-so.
They do get very hot so you need a pot holder or something to get them out with.
