    Are these wipes flushable??

    • j

No. Even the “flushable” ones should not be flushed, they don’t tear apart and cause problems to sewer systems.

      • Patricia Goff

I so agree. Even the flushable ones are not really flushable. My septic man emptied so many of them out of our septic system and they were not from us. They were before we had the house. LOL.

    • Atlanta

Absolutely not! I wouldn’t even flush the new cottonelle wet wipes! It’s really easy to just throw them away. Just do that.

  2. Kristy

Baby wipes aren’t flushable. They clogged my toilet and had to get plumbing work done.

  3. Anna

So I can buy 5 packs of wipes and they’ll turn out to be .99 each?

    • Cassandra

Yes. Exactly what the post says.

  4. Brittany

Would you guys consider this a good price and would they still be good in December? …. Momma to be here and I am just learning 🙂

    • Monique

My personal buy price is $1 a pack. They do last a LONG time as long as the packages are sealed. I have 3 kids and use wipes for everything!! You can never have too many 🙂

    • Barb

It’s a good price, not great, for the 72 ct it ends up being .013 per wipe which is good but for stock up I try to shoot for .005. And yes they will still be good in december, I think wipes have a shelf life of over a year in my experience.

    • I Love It

This works out to be 0.017/wipe. My price point is less than 2 cents a wipe so yes this is a good deal. I would get some. They wil be fine until your baby comes in December as long as they aren’t opened 🙂

    • Brittany

      Thanks!!

    • JackofAllTrades

Depending on where you live (I’m in AZ), it might be fine to leave in your linen closet, or other storage space. However, I’ve found they stay extra moist in a bag with as much air out as possible. I use ziploc/hefty ones & they stay great for a LONG time! (Same w markers & glue sticks from back to school sales)

Does anyone know if any other stores are doing this sale? I mean any Kroger related stores. I don’t have a Kroger but I have a Fred Meyer.

    • Barb

Fred Meyer is kroger affliated so they should be doing it

    • Kim

Yes all Kroger stores. I have a Smiths near me and they are doing this sale.

    • Shopper

All affiliate stores have the buy 5, save $5 promotion this week. I’m Fry’s and they have this wipes deal. You can always find a Fred Meyer blog to verify : )

    • Bea

Even though Fred Meyer is a Kroger affiliate, they don’t seem to do these types of Kroger promos. Freddies might be the only one that doesn’t, in my experience.

  6. Megan

Are there any coupons to make it an even better deal?

    • cbeths

I had a .50 off 1 coupon on my Kroger card that I loaded previously. Check there.

    • Atlanta

      Check Huggies.com and coupons.com

  7. Sue

My son in law is a plumber and he has told me never flush any type of wipe. They all stop up the plumbing.
On the wipes for .99 you don’t have to buy 5 wipes to get for .99 just 5 total of any of the other items in this deal. There are quiet a few of them. Just check the add.

    • Shopper

The ad doesn’t show most of the items. In store I found a small booklet of what’s included.

  8. Lisa

Is Food 4 Less an affiliate of Kroger?

    • Andrea

      Yep

      • Lisa

I went today and the it did not work on Pampers as someone mentioned it was on other wipes as well.

  9. Thankship2save!

I’m not sure how long it lasts, but there is a catelina for $5 off next purchace wyb $25 Huggies. This would make a great deal if you need a ton of wipes or if u need diapers.

    • cbeths

Maybe that’s what happened in my store. Sale started yesterday. I went at 4:30 in the afternoon — only 4 packs of wipes left, and only the 52 ct ones.

  10. Patricia Goff

I had an email from Huggies that had a 50 cents off coupon so check your in box or spam folder. They were only 49 cents after coupons.

    • JenniferS

      Patricia,
Was that an email from Huggies or Kimberly Clark? I was just looking my emails from Huggies just saw reward statements. I would like to know more about the email you received the $ .50 coupon for the Huggies wipes. Thanks for sharing. TIA 😃

  11. em

Went to my Fred Meyer (no Kroger here) and they didn’t have the promo on the wipes. They did have a promo on huggies diapers. Buy 2 packages $7.99 each (they were on sale, reg price $9.??). When you buy 2 you received $5 off next shopping order. I also had uploaded a $4 coupon on their site. $12 upfront and $5 off next order, made them $3.50 package. Not bad. It was select packages.

FYI on the shelf life per huggies website:
“All unopened Huggies Baby Wipes have a shelf life of two years. Once opened they will remain fresh for up to a year, provided the tub or pack is sealed properly between uses and is kept out of direct sunlight and away from a lot of heat. All Huggies Baby Wipes are best stored at room temperature.”

    • Sam

I’ve left mine out in a shed. They froze and then thawed. They were still perfectly fine many months later.

Remember: rain check are your friend! Kroger rain checks are good for 30 days – be sure to get one if shelves are cleared.

    • sarah

It has to be in the ad for rain checks. No store Will not order extra for the promo sales like this or get rain checks for these type sales. My local Wal-Mart also refuses to ad match the deal as well.

      • sarah

        Sorry *my store will not

  14. elisa

If you use a .50 cents coupon the store double so you can get it free. If you buy 5

  15. Jaime

Kroeger near me is not participating! Darn!

  16. esther

I just finished my shopping today. I bought 30 Huggies wipes (56 count) each pack.. Before any savings = $86.70. After in-store savings and $10.00 store coupon, I only paid $25.23 out of pocket!
