I have to say that I have not shopped Rite Aid since they started the Plenti program. Have you all found the program worthwhile? The allure of shopping RA previously was the awesome deals with very little out of pocket – does the Plenti program offer this? TIA!

It’s basically like walgreens balance rewards except that they last two years, but without all the silly earning/using restrictions. You can earn/spend them through other companies as well such as Exxon. The deals aren’t as good at Rite Aid anymore, but at least there isn’t a rush to try to use the points.

Last week was the first time I went back and I did the Eucerin deal and this week
I did the crest pro health (which is my preferred toothpaste). When I purchased the toothpaste I didn’t even have to pay tax. An option to use points came up on the keypad so it was very easy. The points have something like a 2 year expiration but you have to have 200 points to use. I think it will be worth it if a good deal.

Sure. I roll my points every week! That is the biggest plus vs Walgreens b/c there you can’t roll points on a point deal. Another plus is that points have a longer expiration (2 yrs), vs 2 wks, so if there is a wk or 2 with nothing of interest, I won’t have to burn points instead of losing them like I did with UPs.

I will say, the deals just aren’t as great as before, I think b/c they got rid of the Video Values to turn a so-so deal into a HOT deal! But with the right manuf coupons, my gold discount, I have gotten some decent deals, with little to $0 oop and moneymakers.

Thanks for the feedback!! Maybe I will ease my way back into checking it out! I don’t shop Wag either, b/c i never wanted to mess with their new program. Wish I had a CVS in town!

Walgreen is horrible. I don’t waste my time shopping there.

Even though it is similar to Walgreen’s I have just lost interest in RiteAid.

      Me too….

I hadn’t shopped rite aid since they switched the ups to one day before you can use. But now with the plenti point system i have started shopping here again. I think its great that points don’t expire for 2 yrs. This allows me to only have to get the deals that are worth it to me. Ya sales haven’t been as great but still a few things worth going for. Have to wait till you hace 200 pts to use but after that can use points exactly to your spend amount. Like $12.88 would be 1288 pts.

I forget the policy. Can we get Plenti points when using Plenti points to pay?

    • jamie

Eric, yes! Just have to have 200 points to spend and a balance due of at least $2.00. You can even use the points on tax!

I thought the plenti points are ending July first ?????!!!!!!!
