Anyone know how well this works?? I am looking for a fitness tracker, and would appreciate recommendations.
I loved mine. Unfortunately it stopped working after only 7 months of use. Glad I bought it on sale for about $30. Made the failure less disappointing.
Chantal – Jawbone has an AMAZING customer service department. I got mine for Christmas and in May, it stopped syncing. I emailed them and they told me that it was under warranty – all I needed was the serial number, which you can get from the app. Needless to say, I had a new one in the mail within a week! You should definitely contact them. It cost me absolutely nothing. They even sent a prepaid label to send my old one back.
I’ve been VERY happy with mine. It works great and is fairly accurate.
I have one and it’s very helpful. It measures you sleep patterns and how much you walk. I put it on my ankle when I’m shopping or pushing my son around otherwise it won’t track. I have it set to remind me to take my medicine and an alarm to wake me during the week (it vibrates). It keeps track for as long as you use it and over time you can see trends. The only downside, a small one, is that you have to plug it into a compatible device (phone, iPod, iPad). I’ve run into a problem because my old phone died and my new phone isn’t compatible.
I think this is perfect if you don’t want to spend the big bucks on a fitness tracker. I own this as well and LOVE it. I paid $30 bucks on sale and so far it has been just wonderful!

I am 5’6 and only 125 lb and I have a large (found in a discount bin). It doesn’t bother me at all, barely moves around. It will be perfect for him.
I hated mine! It wld tell me to move while I was running on treadmill. I sent it bk & got a fitbit but it did cost alot more!

I had one and it stopped working after about a month. I emailed customer service about it and over a MONTH later they called me back. By that time I had already returned it. I am using a Fitbit now.
I don’t recommend this product. I’ve had 2; both stopped working quickly. The first one lasted 3 months and I only got a $50 credit, good for 6 months, towards a small line of their other products. The 2nd one stopped charging after a month and 6 weeks later, I stopped trying to troubleshoot with customer service and just got a fitbit.
I got mine 3 weeks ago and it is really fun! I charge it on my computer using the sync cord that came with it and the charge lasgs for 2 weeks. Keeps track of my sleep, how long it takes me to fall asleep, and my exercise. I walked on my treadmill for 2 miles while wearing the Jawbone and the Jawbone said it was so miles – so its accurate, too. Got mine for around $30.
I was worried about it falling off but its a neat system that just requires you to slip it on, and it cant come off accidentally. I like it.
I got mine in January and it’s still going strong. I wear it almost all day everyday even when sleeping. I only take it off to shower. I love everything about it for what it is. To me there’s no need to spend big bucks on it. All of the fit bits and that in my opinion are just fancy pedometers. This one even tracks sleep and activities and you can add meals and sync my fitness pal. Not to mention I get $5 weekly from shopyourway rewards. It’s definitely paid for itself. 😀
Can you explain a little about how you get paid from shopyourway to have this? Is it for any fitness tracker or just this one?
I love mine. My favorite thing is the sleep tracking. I am always complaining that I don’t sleep at all and my husband always rolled his eyes. Now he can see it, lol. And I found mine at an Amish store for $2.50!!!! I don’t think they knew what it was, the package is kind of plain. Mine is a large and I’m a small person and it doesn’t slide around much or fall off.
They are amazing! I wear it every day and it inspired me to get healthy!
do you have to by an app for this? what kind of phone does it work with or is a computer workable?
The app is free. It should work on an Iphone and an Android. You don’t sync it to your computer, only your cell phone. I love my Jawbone UP24! I broke my first one and they sent me a new one:). Yes they aren’t perfect but all the research I did on the Fitbit said it had faults too. This is a way cheaper way to get a fitness tracker!
