Can I install this on my tablet? My Samsung Galaxy 3 uses up so much data, I try not to put anymore apps on it. Thanks!!
You can give it a shot. I think the Galaxy tabs run android also, so it should work.
This also works for any Fire tablets!
This is cool. Thanks Collin 💕
😀
Can’t seem to get this to download on my fire tablet??
You don’t have to download it. You have to go through the tablet itself. Go to Apps, then store, and then the Underground app part of it. On my daughters tablet it was right on the top. I hope that helps.
I tried and still unable to find the app. Weird.
The app has very intrusive permissions. You must decide if that is an acceptable price to “pay” for use of this app.
Many apps do….but ppl fail to realize this bc they don’t read the huge list unfortunately.
Is this a good way to get a virus?
Just because they ask for permission doesn’t mean they are going to read all your messages and listen to your calls… paranoid much?? What are you trying to hide? or do you think a Billion dollar corp like Amazon is going to steal you credit card #. People are so self righteous and think they are so important. smh.
It’s more than that. It’s about the right to privacy. It’s about the the right to not give away your marketing info for free (unless you feel that is a fair trade off). You are also allowing Amazon to send texts from your phone. Not everyone has unlimited texting. Further, although you might think that Amazon won’t steal your credit card, how about hackers getting into their site? EVERY site can be hacked and will be at one time or other.
Eh – to each their own. I don’t think it’s fair to call people who are worried about security and the rights they are signing over to a corporation as self-righteous. Especially when security breaches are so common now ie – Ashley Madison, Anthem, etc. I’m sure Amazon takes precautions, but you just can’t protect against everything.
Underground does not yet work on fire phones — go figure, an Amazon product! The folks at Mayday said the engineers are working it, though…
I just wanted to add that in addition to the app being free many of those apps include free in-app purchases as well (for those on the underground list). That makes it a much better deal.
I was able to download several of them on my fire phone
