I got a text message saying clearence was going to be up to 80%off so you might want to price scan stuff as it could be mismarked!

I was wondering how does the coupon work…I was recently told by an associate that I couldn’t use a mObie coupon over and over….that it’s meant to be a one time use. She stated that the company flags repeated use of the same coupon code and they could lose their job….has any one else been told this?….in the past I would do multiple transactions for maximum gain

I usually just go to different registers but I’ve never had a problem using the same one over and over.

I hope not. I fwd it to my sister as she was there but was hoping to use it personally later

What I ended up doing was using a code from my email…then using a code from the jcp app… I didn’t have a texted code at the time… it was just strange news to learn so I decided to check in on hip2save to hear others take on this 🙂

They didn’t even bother scanning my online coupon from the jcpenney site. They just scanned their own paper one next to the register. So, I’m not sure why she said that.

What Dorothy said above, has happened to me numerous times.

No, they can use the same code. I don’t think it’s one time use, otherwise it would beep. You can also use retailmenot to get another copy of the same coupon.

It’s so funny what different employees say. It’s a national coupon. They say the same thing to me at Joanns fabrics. That they could lose their jobs but it’s only because their manager is stingy.

Does this work on the Martha celebrations section?

I’ve been in there several times over the last few weeks and again Monday and bought several items using a $10 off $25. The cashier told me about 80% starting today so I went back and it was literally the exact same prices as it’s been. There is some stuff up to 80% off but it’s nothing new, same stuff as it’s been for a month. I scanned to check. Waste of time for me. I’m in Waco Tx

if you’ve never used Raise before this would be a great deal to combine – they have JC Penney gift cards for up to 17% off – if you are new you can use my link for $5 off your purchase at Raise and get (for example) a $40 JC Penney E-gift card for $29 — combine with this JC Penney coupon and you could do two transactions at JC Penney to score big:
    $25 purchase – $10 coupon = $15 on gift card
    $25 purchase – $10 coupon = $15 on gift card
plus remaining gift card balance of $10 – happy dance

I worked for JcPenny’s and we usually had a printed coupon from management that we used to scan so it made it easier and quicker than having to manually type in the coupon code… The only coupons they have that can NOT be used more than once are the JCP Reward codes.
