   This set is great….however the pieces are ALWAYS falling apart and the track doesn’t stay together and my daughter ends up frustrated

  I completely agree! Got this for my 2 year old last Christmas, she loved it but the pieces don’t snap together or even fit together well which means the set was always coming apart and causing a2 year old to get very upset as it would not stand without the base put together. It was a love/hate relationship until I couldn’t take it 4 months later and got rid of it.

  My exact experience, too, but it was the police chase set. These toys are a good idea that was executed poorly.

   We are on a tight budget but looking for a toy similar to this for my 2.5 year old girl. Something educational and with animals would be great. Any recommendations?? Or something bigger to ask grandparents for Christmas?

  I would seriously recommend the Fisher-Price Little People Zoo Talkers Animal Sounds Zoo. It stays together well, is lots of fun and uses real animal sounds. Plus there’s add on like additional animals and zookeeper with car set to add on. I like when grandparent’s get expensive toy and we can add a small set to go with.

    Bummer, my son adores the Go!Go! Smart Wheels, I’ve been wanting to get him the animal one as well, hopefully the price will drop again, I’ll keep checking back 😉
