Happy Friday: Clever Scarf Organizer

Hi there Collin! I know you love scarves as much as I do….and yes, I did just buy some more! I wanted to let you know that I finally came up with a great organization strategy for the endless piles and knots of scarves. I used an over the door shoe holder and was able to (NEATLY) arrange 72 scarves behind my bedroom door. This organizer was in my closet housing random things behind that door for about ten years before I had this epiphany.
I know others have used different shoe organizers, or hangers and shower hoops, or scarf hangers, but I tried them all too and they still left my scarf section much to be desired. It was always bulky, or still tangled, or just not pretty. You can see how well this type of organizer holds!

my closet is tiny, plus I have to share with my hubby :).. Love this idea..
That’s why i needed to do something with my scarves…the closet wasn’t cutting it. This is located behind my bedroom door. But I’ll start a new one inside a closet too.

I own 4 scarves and three of them were presents for the last three Christmases from the same person. Do I wear any of my scarves? No.
I also have a large pashmina collection which I wear as a wrap or pinned as a poncho in fall and winter.
Love seeing hijabs organized! Mine are on those 5 pant rack hangers…this looks so much better

Love it! I have an enormous scarf collection too but I’m confused, did you put 2 in each shoe prong? How many prongs does it have and how many can you nearly hang I it? Because I havr 4 scarf hangers and would love to see mine organized nicely too!

I always get jealous when I see all these great over the door organizational ideas. (I have those annoying bifold doors that you can’t hang anything on.) 🙂
