The $10 when you spend $30 is what always makes me go to CVS for diapers. I can usually get a pack for as low as $2! But with only a “sale” price of $8.99… I can get that at any grocery. What is up??
Sales have been pretty slack the past few wks. Rumor going around that there will be changes to the ECB program (either by the end of the year or beginning of next year), that they are going to switch to points. A while back, I read that Target started a beta point test program. And now that CVS has merged with their Pharmacy, makes me wonder if CVS will also merge with their points program.
Out of the blue I stopped getting CVS coupons on my account. The weekly ones the machine at the store prints now have “MFR” for manufacturer coupon on it, so it’s not really a CVS coupon, and you can’t use another manufacturer coupon with it. I’m no longer getting % off coupons either. My spending at CVS is probably 10% of what it was a year ago, since the lack of coupons and changes. If this is happening to anyone else, there’s a reason sales are slacking.
The ones that print as “manuf” off off to the side, has to do with how taxes are calculated. But you are allowed to stack with a manuf coupon b/c it’s still considered a “store” coupon, as it can’t be redeemed anywhere else for reimbursement.
I still get % off coupons and great deals at the machine. The goal for me is to not pay for anything there and i usually dont each time i go. It’s my hobby. I sometimes forget to buy the sunday paper. Sometimes i will order the inserts. Last time i did though, i forgot i had them and they expired. That was a dumb move! Im def not a shelf clearer or a hoarder. I only buy what my family uses. I only shop at cvs. Not rite aid or target or Walgreens. I really hope they don’t do away with ecbs. I will be so disappointed!
I haven’t had a % off email in months. I hope they don’t switch to points like Walgreens.
Ever since we had the week with no ad in Ohio the sales have been bad(IMO). I’ve made some deals good with coupons and ebucks but I’m surprised at how dull the ads have been. Only time will tell if it picks up or changes happen I guess.
I am LOVING the deals today!!! I loaded up at Bath and Body Works and now I’m looking forward to my CVS trip tomorrow. Thanks Collin 😃

I printed out a $2.00 off any Tena product coupon a couple of weeks ago and never used it, so just tried to use it this morning to get a better deal and the cashier told me the register wouldn’t take it because it had Walgreens logo on the side even though it said it was a manufacturers coupon on top. She also told me she couldn’t override it. Has anyone else had this issue? I thought that as long as a coupon had manufacturers coupon written on the top that it could be used at any store that accepted coupons. I never had any problems before this woman started to work Sunday mornings. Very frustrating!
CVS policy is they won’t take a manuf coupon if it has another store’s logo.
Used mine no problem the last time. Go to another cvs 🙂
Some CVS will take coupons like that and some will not. You just need to learn your store and like kidsallgone said go to another store that will. I’m in the same boat.

The pharmacist wouldn’t take my $5 off any Zyrtec product for the Zyrtec-D that’s on sale this week. Is that correct? Seems to me that Zyrtec D is a Zyrtec product, but maybe I’m wrong.
Hey Collin! There is a $2/2 any abound grocery/snack item coupon and I was able to use it last night to score two bags of abound “heavenly light popcorn” They are on sale for $1 each. It’s the smaller bag but still great because it’s FREE 😀
The $1 is regular price, never ‘on sale’ but usually in the ad.

2 different CVS stores have them in different areas, so you may have to scope around. The store I shop most, has them in a round bin in the pharmacy area. The other store they’re on the shelf with the other chips brands (lays, etc).
I’ve read some stores have them in the $1 food area.
Varies by store. The $1 bags are with the cereal cups, end of seasonal area (towards cooler). Another store has them within the grocery asile (near cooler), hanging. The regular big popcorn bags I’ve found with the chips or a pharmacy end cap.
I was able to get 5 colgate optic white and used $4 off $14 toothpaste cvs q, $2 off colgate cvs q from last week, and 4 $0.75/1 mq= $6 and get $6 ecb back! Awesome!!! :))

Yes. Contact Customer service. If you stopped receiving personalized emails, that may be why no $3 email came.
This is probably a silly question for some of you but I dont usually purchase online products through CVS… Will i be able to use coupons and the rewards money printed on my receipt when I purchase stuff online through CVS? Also, if I purchase something online that is advertising for spend $30 get $10 back will it automatically credit my card?
No to all questions above about online shopping. When Colin says “online prices” she is just giving you a comparable price, not an exact item at an exact price found in actual stores near you.

There was no limit on the Nivea ECB deal at my CVS (not sure why…).
Since I had two copies of the 8/16 SS, I did the following:
Buy 5 Nivea Body Wash 16.9 oz. $4
Total – $20
Use the 2 $3/2 Nivea Regular or Men Body Wash coupon found in the 8/16 SS (exp. 9/12!)
Pay $14
Get back $6 Ecb
Final cost $8 – $1.60 each! Yay!
