I constantly forget to upload my receipts to KFR. I get home and it’s like “Ok, the things I bought at Walmart need to be uploaded to the Savings Catcher, scan these things for Savingstar & Ibotta, take a picture for Checkout51…” My mind is already on trying to get groceries put away, subtracting the total from my checkbook, and adding what I spent to our budget. Does anyone have any tips for managing all these apps & receipt uploads?? I love all these ways to save money but it gets overwhelming.
I understand you completely! I can’t tell you how many times I forget to scan a receipt or the actual item (eg. Ibotta) and I do not like that Kellogg’s jumped on the wagon with this. I liked the idea of finding the codes, collecting them and then, at night, enter them in batches. So what I have been doing lately is purchasing the items that need to be scanned or uploaded, separately. I usually go to the self check out and right after my transaction, I scan it or if its not convenient then, in the car. I like the fact that its a short receipt to upload instead of taking many pictures to get the full receipt. Hope this helps. 🙂
You can text receipts to KFR.
I keep all the savings apps on one screen on my phone. Ibotta unlock before going to store, everything you may purchase, then use the in app shopping list to scan items in store, then upload receipt when you can.
Some store reward cards link to KFR, check your zip on site. Receipts go straight to them, when linked.
When I go to enter it in, it puts dashes in and won’t accept it??? Ideas???
