I hope you can gift this like last time! Then I will gift to myself when my prime expires!!

    • Vivian

I hope that will work but it says new members so is that ok?

      • Michelle

use a different e-mail address maybe?

    • taya

how do you do this? how can you turn off the auto renewal?? my is up nov 28th. TIA

  2. Jac

Anyone know if u can delay the start date? Thinking the hubby can do it when my yr is up!

  3. Cassandra

Oh yes! I always use my sisters account lol. She’ll be happy if I get my own for once!

    • Vivian

You know she can add you on as a shared member right? You get all the free ship benefits just not Amazon mom and maybe a few other things. She sends you an invite through email.

      • Coco

I thought the person has to live in the same household as the main subscriber. I asked my sister if she would share the membership with me but she is very worried about getting in some sort of trouble, so I’m just going to get my own membership.

        • Emily

You are supposed to live in the same household but with old memberships, they do nothing to check. I share mine with my mom, best friend and sister-in-law.

          • Keri

Nope, my sister uses my membership in her own email, I added her as one of the family users. It’s allowed, no issues at all. She gets free shipping too.

            • Sharon

Have wondered about this. What happens if something is ordered; does it always go to the primary address? Or can each person put in their own address, even if it might be different states?

  4. Sara

Is it worth having prime if you dont shop at amazon alot? Any other benefits except the prime shipping?

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

You get Prime Video, Music, Photo storage, early access to lightning deals and ebooks as well as the Shipping 😉

    • Monica

Even if you do not shop on amazon “alot”, once you get the membership, you will start to shop on there more often. They are usually cheaper than most places and you don’t have to leave your house to shop. PLUS, free shipping on most items:-)

    • Tami

      subscribe and save

  5. Melissa

Even at $99 Amazon Prime is the best deal around. We save so much money with Prime and it truly saves time and helps simplifies our shopping.

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

      Thanks for sharing Melissa 🙂

  6. SAHM

Finally!! Thankyou Collin I have been hanging out for a deal on it. Can’t stand paying full price for anything, figured they would have to have a membership deal eventually.

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

      You’re welcome!

  7. Michelle

I wish they were offering this for current members so renew. I think the current $99 price more than pays for itself a dozen times over, I just wish they would exclude loyal current members.

    • Marie

I think you meant include and yes I agree.

    • Sandy

You gift it to yourself. Then when confirming the gift tell it to start from the day after your membership expires. Then make sure you turn off auto-renew. This worked for me last time. Check Slickdeals for updates!

      • k

Can you remind me how that works, do you buy it from your registered amazon account email, then send it to a different email address of yours, then put the code in on your registered account? 🙂

  8. Gilly

If you have a student education email you can always get it cheaper that way

    • Kim

And first 6 months free for students;)

    • Se

only if you can provide proof now….

  9. eyez

i’m still new to prime and i really don’t understand it. i have the free trial but i only use it for ebooks. will anything change when my trial ends as far as the e-book privilages? thanks in advance

  10. Jenna

Does “new” mean that you’re not currently a member or that you’ve NEVER been a member? I quit prime when they jacked the price up to $99 and vowed that I wouldn’t rejoin unless an opportunity like this came along. I do miss the 2-day shipping, but I’m digging my heels in on this one! LOL 🙂

    • Amanda

I’m sure you could create a new account with a new email address. I don’t condone cheating the system, but in this case, I’m sure you could do it that way.

    • Queenmum

      Great Question !!!!!!!
      I’m wondering the same

      • Mandy B

Me too. I’ve never paid for Amazon Prime, but I’ve done the free trial. I wonder if I qualify.

        • Bre

I did the free trial a few months ago and I used the same account to sign up for prime at the $67 price. So I know the free trial does not keep you from the deal.

  11. Nicole B

Perfect for Christmas shopping that is right around the corner. Always sad when I miss the good deals bc I don’t have Prime. Thanks, Collin!!

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

      You’re welcome!

  12. Jennifer

I’m wondering the same thing. I had a membership a few years ago

  13. Megan

If anyone is interested I have a screen shot tutorial available through Fiverr.com on how to find great deals in Amazon’s Prime Pantry 🙂 https://www.fiverr.com/mzad22

I can’t say enough good things about Amazon Prime in general! Collin-thank you so much for all the Amazon deals that you post. If my link in any way infringes upon the proper use of your website comments please delete it. I appreciate all that you do and I don’t want to break the rules!

    • kimnelly

      Your link doesn’t work BTW.

  14. kim

Anyone know if this would be a benefit for the Amazon fire deal? I bought the tablets for my daughters for Christmas, but money is tight this year and I’m curious if this would open up options for those. Any feedback would be great.

    • Nicole

Yes, they would be able to watch all the free Prime shows and movies Amazon offers. It’s similar to Netflix–lots of stuff overlaps with what Netflix offers, but Amazon has some of their own original stuff and stuff like Blue’s Clues and Daniel Tiger that my 3 year loves, which isn’t on Netflix.

      • Darcie

Daniel the Tiger is on Netflix

      • Klaw

Daniel tiger is on Netflix 😀

  15. Heather

    Awesome deal!!! Thanks Collin!

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

You are so welcome Heather!! 🙂

  16. Yvonne

I am on the month free trial right now so technically I have not joined yet. I know they will charge my credit card after this month is over. I wonder if I can still get this deal?

    • lisa

      I’m wondering the same thing.

      • Jen D

I’m sure you can. You’d go into your prime settings, select the option to end your trial today or in the next few days, then on Friday when the deal is on, buy prime!

    • Coco

This is what I wonder, too. I tried the 30 day trial a couple months ago, but then cancelled as I think $99 is too pricey. But I’ve been thinking about Prime every week and I’d looooove to do it for $67 if it will let me!!!

  17. Michelle

Do you still have to make a minimum purchase for free shipping with prime?

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Nope “No minimum order size” 🙂

    • M

Unless it’s listed as an “add-on” item.

  18. Joanne

Deciding whether I should get this or not since they changed the sharing benefits…:(

    • Stephanie

      What are the sharing benefits?

  19. anna

Hi Colin. I know you hear this alot, YOU ARE AWESOME! Its true. Thank you for time and efforts to save people money.

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

You are so welcome Anna! Thanks for such kind words 😉

  20. Amy

Does anyone know if you can delay the start date? I’d love to gift this to my son and daughter-in-law for Christmas. Thank you in advance.

  21. Jen

Darn…I just got my first membership a week ago:( I should have waited. Oh well. Great deal for this price!

    • Heather C

Call customer service- they are super friendly and want to please their customers. Perhaps you can get the difference back! Especially since it has been such a short period of time. Good luck!

    • nikki

Have you used it for free shipping yet? They will refund your membership if you haven’t used it.

    • Eve

If you have not used your membership, they will give you a refund.

  22. Tera S.

Could you sign up for this $67 deal and add a person to share it with?

    • mamasweetpea08

i don’t see why not. if it is a normal non-student prime account, you should be able to share your prime benefits. looks like they’ve changed their sharing model recently using something like households etc instead of simply adding email addresses and sending invites. however, I believe for one other person, they can share benefits by being added as part of the “household”

  23. Chelsey Gray

Does anyone know how the new sharing policy actually works? I was hoping to share with my mom and sister.

    • Becca

You can only share with one other person and that person must be in the same household as you.

  24. Nicole

Does this make you eligible for Amazon Mom or is that something different? I have a new baby coming soon and would like to get the diaper discounts!

    • Jamie

Yes. Amazon mom comes free with prime. You just would have to sign up once you get prime. Lots of good coupons and deals for baby stuff! Congrats and enjoy the rest of your pregnancy!

  25. Kristina

It says new customers. I used to have a membership and canceled about a year ago. Do you think this will work or me?

  26. Vicki

I’m currently in my 30 day free trial. Do I need to cancel the free trial to be eligible for this deal? When I went into my account, the only option to cancel is after my 30 day free trial ends when is not till October 19th so the free trial will still be active this Friday the 25th so not sure what to do. Anyone have any advice?

  27. Liz

If you buy prime then do u still pay tax also? I dont have prime but pay tax on amazon orders. However my daughter has prime and doesnt pay tax. But she lives in another state.

  28. Tiffany

I’m only getting the option to do a 30 day free trial. Will the $67 price kick in after the free trial?

    • taya

      starts 9-25 only

  29. Del

It is not available for current/previous Prime Members. My membership is about to expire next Friday, and the deal is not available. I confirmed with Amazon that this deal is for only NEW Prime Members. You also cannot gift Prime at the discounted rate either. Too bad Amazon doesn’t value their current members enough to give us deal. At this time, I am not renewing my membership.
