Dollar Tree Associate Appreciation Day coupon

If you have a Dollar Tree nearby, you may want to print this new coupon that was just released! On Sunday, October 4th only, Dollar Tree is having an Associate Appreciation Day where customers and associates can save an additional 10% off your ENTIRE in-store purchase of $10 or more with this new coupon. This coupon should make for some sweet deals, especially since ALL items at Dollar Tree are only $1 each (so just $0.90 each after coupon!).

Dollar Tree Kids' Activity books

Consider snatching up items for Birthday parties like coloring books, gift bags & wrap, candy, and more! Keep in mind that this coupon cannot be used in conjunction with any other discount, so I’m guessing you won’t be able to stack with manufacturer’s coupons. šŸ™

Also, keep your eyes peeled for Best Selling books priced at ONLY $1 each at your local Dollar Tree! Check out the email that Hip2Save reader Victoria sent…

For the past year I’ve noticed that the Dollar Tree has upped it’s game for books, and I have probably purchased over 100 books within that time frame. And these aren’t just any books, usually these are very well known authors (Janet Evanovich, Nicholas Sparks), books from popular series (Pretty Little Liars, Twilight, The Morganville Vampires), and books that you will currently see on the shelves of places such as Barnes & Noble for $8 and up!

The other day at Barnes & Noble, I saw 4 books that I had just purchased at the Dollar Tree for $1 each that cost much more than that at Barnes & Noble. The books “The Truth About The Harry Quebert Affair” and “The Morganville Vampires: Volume 2” were two of these titles. For all the readers out there, especially those who still prefer the physical book in hand when reading, this is big! I would highly suggest checking it out!

(Thanks,  Victoria, Alyssa, Allison and Brandice!)

I absolutely hate that they only do these on Sundays šŸ™ On principle, I don’t shop on Sundays so it’s never an option for me.

Does it have to be a printed coupon or can I show them from my phone.

        • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

It states that the “printed voucher much be presented at time of purchase”.

When I print out the coupon there’s a big space on the back side that’s for an Associate’s name who personally invited me. So… can we use this anyway, even if we weren’t specifically invited?

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

      Yes šŸ™‚

I was handed one of these coupons by a cashier last Sunday. Can we use it on newspapers? I know newspapers are usually an exclusion everywhere else.

    • Erica

The back just states cant use on giftcards, phonecards or reloadable cards. You have a great name by the way. šŸ™‚

    • Loulou

No. You donā€™t pay taxes on newspapers. And newspapers are delivered daily I believe. They are not tipped to the dtore for the store to stock this item. So therefore no itā€™s not considered a book magazine. Itā€™s a paper aka newspaper about your local area. Itā€™s not a item ā€œ(book, magazineā€) offered store wide. They all have different topics and news in different cities different news papers are at different stores. If not offered for the whole US/world wide for one to view this is not a stock item like other products are. They do not arrive as ā€œmostā€ items do, usually by semi trucks. Hope I explained this right way not over or under explaining. But I do believe I have listed every reason to why a coupon is not available to apply to a newspaper. Itā€™s not a MF example tide owned by p&g all products have sale name ingredients color descriptions as they advertise. A news paper is not MF by a sole owner of this brand nor a company selling the same thing to every store that purchases there brand to sell on. Itā€™s a county to county, city to city, state to state Newspaper. And again they are nontax that within itself is good enough reasoning to why a coupon could not be applied. Unless ur county offers city coupons that specified the newspaper building was giving a discount thzt day. :-/

  14. Andrew

The best book I ever purchased at Dollar Tree was years ago. It was called: TV Guide book of lists.

  15. L.

My dt never has best sellers. I wish…

  16. Jenny

I think all of that green ink on the coupon will cost more than the 10% I’d save. LOL!

  17. CW

Just a heads up, I printed it in black and they said it couldn’t be a photocopy. I said no, it’s in black ink. I had to argue for them to take it because it wasn’t the original and wasn’t green. No kidding. Like a $1-2 discount will kill them.
