We purchased this last time it went on sale and it’s an amazing seat! We highly recommend!

Can anyone speak to the size of this car seat? Does it fit OK in the backseat of a normal sized car?

    • Kristin

It does. It’s a larger seat, so smaller cars the seats would need to be pushed forward a bit. We have a midsize car and it fits just fine, rear facing in the middle back seat.

    • Kristy

This is a very big and bulky car seat

    • J

Great seat. It is big and bulky at the top but the base is actually very narrow so it pieces well next to other seats. I have it as one part of a 3 across in a Corolla.

    • Megan

It’s huge. The mySIZE 65 is much more compact and well loved and fits well with other seats. It can be found for around $100 fairly regularly.

I’m kicking myself for not purchasing that Graco 4ever seat you had posted here a couple weeks ago. We decided a few days later that we were in the market and after looking around that is definitely our choice! I’m keeping my eyes open for another deal on that one! Thanks for all you do.

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

      You’re welcome Elissa! 🙂

Anyone know of any good deals on strollers? Looking for a good but affordable one for my one month old. Thank you

Would this be a good choice for a small 5 year old who still needs to be harnessed? I need to get a new seat but trying to figure out which would be a good choice now that she’s in Kindergarten.

My 5 year old daughter comfortably fits in this car seat but not sure for how much longer. In one of our cars she’s in a booster seat. You could always head to a store that had these and try putting your five year old in it to see how the fit is since every kid is different.

      • MIchell

Good idea. My daughter is fairly petite and her doctor said she can’t be in a booster yet, but I need to get her a new seat. I want something that can eventually convert to a booster.

    • Emily

Seems small for a 5 year old. My 2 year old sits comfortably.

      • MIchell

Oops! I’m referring to the Graco Nautilus seat.

        • vmm

good:) yes, the nautilus would be great for getting a small 5 year old to a safe boostering age. both of my kids have loved our nautilus seats

My little boy will be 5 in December and is on the small side, he’s 39lbs. We own the My Ride65 and the Nautilus in both mine and my husband vechicles. I’m thinking the My Ride65 will probably last maybe 1 more year if that, because of his height ( you can’t adjust the height of the car seat like you can in the Nautilus). The Nautilus will definitely last us a long time due to being able to adjust the height of the seat and still be harnessed for as long as possible. After he’s passed the height and weight restrictions to be harnessed you can still use the seat with the vehicles shoulder seat belt strap. Another reason I liked and choose the Nautilus, is that the car seat has a steel-reinforced frame. They are both really great car seats I definitely recommend them both! I hope this helps.

    Best carseat for small cars?

  7. Prani

Got the blue colored . I have same in green for my other car. Nice car seat

  8. Jamie

There are better seats for small cars, but in some situations the MyRide puzzles well with other seats. The Nautilus is also a bigger seat but my 8 year old still uses it (booster mode now but harnessed until almost 7 in it) and says it is his most comfortable seat.

  9. Amber

It’s also on Walmart! I found them last night and ordered my girls 2 of the pink ones for my husbands truck

Walmart has the sully for $74. Target also price match the green and pink. You can price match online and in store (I did online chat to price match).
