   Scares me when the description of this item says it contains chemicals that in the state of California cause cancer, birth defects, & reproductive harm. What’s all that about?

  The law requires this as a disclosure that the item you’re buying is made from materials or has ingredients that can cause cancer, birth defects, or cause reproductive harm. So this weight set has some chemical(s) that cause you harm. I’m sure it’s not immediate but toxins do build up in our bodies over time. And if McDonald’s food has that warning, it should tell you something.
