I got an email about this and $5 gifts. Does anyone know if you can get the gifts in store or do you have to have them shipped?
I just went to the store to check and see about the $5 gifts. They are all gifts not made instore and the offer isn’t showing up on the kiosk when ordering the items.
They don’t do in store pick up because they can’t make them in store with that being said shipping is $5.99.

These will make wonderful stocking stuffers. Great for lockers, fridge, hubby’s tool box and file cabinets. Giving our kids a family picture magnet to put in their locker at school. Got 8 of these last time and they are great quality! I was surprised there wasn’t a limit last time. I especially appreciate the frame as many other unframed photo magnets I’ve purchased (and gifted), start to pull away on the edges after placing them – then moving them a few times as you have to lift an edge to release it. No issues on these! I will be getting 5 more.

Ordered so many last time my Walgreens had to order more magnet parts to make the rest of my order! Ordered several of these online on 10/31. Went to the store on 11/1 and was told they didn’t know how to do them. I’ve checked back several times since then only to be told they are still working on them. The Manager promised me a discount whenever they are ready. That was a week ago. Surely they will be free if they ever get them done.
Yeah…. Apparently now company’s don’t bother training people. My store hasn’t got the starter kit to put everything together them but all the pieces used to make it. It’s ridiculous! So hopefully we can make magnets…
I had the same issue. My store said they didn’t make them and they would be shipped to the store. Weeks later and my order is still processing. I’m not expecting them at all anymore and ordered the free ones from shutterfly last week.
Only select stores called “creative” stores will be able to make them. So if your store doesn’t print posters there they probably won’t be able to.
On a side note I’m a photo employee so I’m just venting my frustration at them rolling out new products and us stores not be prepared to met the demand.
Wow! It’s really just the pic in a snapped together frame with a magnet attached. It really isn’t that complicated looking. Fairly sure just 2 pieces
Yeah. It is a pic just snapped in a frame but you have to have the machine and the assembly kit to put it together so it doesn’t fall apart. Even stuff that seem easy require more then you think to do it. Canvases, photo books, and calendars take some time.
I have a question for those who have already ordered. Do they have them done right away? It says they’ll be ready in about 3 hours is that possible?
If you get an email that says your order is ready, it should be available for pick up when you go to the store.
Yes, mine was available in about an hour. I think it depends on how busy they are
My husband ordered our 1st one a few weeks ago when they were this price but it cut 1/2 of each girl off on the pic. Obviously, even though we didn’t choose the best pic for this promo, we sure got a great laugh & only paid $1.75 for it 😂

Collin- I’m having some difficulty with the search feature on the new website. I wanted to get back to this offer after having seen it earlier today, but when I searched for “photo magnet”, what showed up first was last month’s offers. This particular offer was not even listed till page 2. When I entered more detailed information in the search window (like “Walgreens photo magnet”), no results at all turned up. I think the previous search engine performed better. Maybe you could ask that search results appear in chronological order– that would make the finding of the searched-for offer easier, at least for me. I sure appreciate Hip2Save!
