Did you know that online registration is now required for upcoming LEGO Mini Build events (which take place at LEGO stores)? Registration is now open for the upcoming LEGO Monthly Mini Model Build on December 1st and 2nd where kids can build a FREE LEGO Submarine Model.

Just head over here and click the “Sign Up Now” link to score a FREE 2-year subscription to LEGO Club magazine! After filling out the short form, you will be emailed a link that you will need to click on in order to confirm your subscription request. You will then be able to fill out your mailing info. Allow 6-14 weeks for delivery of first issue. If your Lego fan is age 7 or under, you will automatically be signed up for a FREE 2 year subscription to LEGO Club Jr. magazine. This magazine will include stories little ones can read on their own or with Mom or Dad.

Are they really strict with age?
Yep, you have to put their birth dates in as you register.
Yes, they require the DOB during registration and at the Nov build in our store, the manager really laid into a lady who brought in her 3 kiddos who were clearly not 6 (twins that were 2-3 and a 4 y/o). He asked about their ages and she said “oh, we just lie on the form online b/c it’s not a big deal”. He then showed her the list of 173 people “waitlisted”/not able to participate because of her dishonesty. He said that they are pushing all the stores to be SUPER strict about the age limits. I was glad b/c its sad when we’re teaching our kids that lying is ok. They’re watching our example. (that is a rant to the lady at the store…not to your question! 😉 )

They have different time slots you can reserve, they start at 3 and go til 6:40 I think.
