I think they sent them out to people that hadn’t shopped in a while. I hadn’t bought anything in several months, and same with a coworker…and we both received the promo gift card. Another coworker that orders from Newegg quite often didn’t receive one.

The codes only work with the account associated with the email address they’re sent to. So unfortunately they can’t be given to others. This is the email I received:

This is the wording in the email. Codes cannot be given away to others. They have to be used by the account associated with the email address it was sent to 🙁
