   This straightener is only worth the discounted price you’re paying with this deal, if that. Ordered it a few months ago in a similar deal on Facebook. I have an old straightener and thought newer tech might do me good. Used it once and will never use it again. Hottest setting isn’t very hot. Catches on your hair several times as you’re pulling it through. Hair feels damaged once you finally get it all straight. Takes twice as long to straighten than my 8-yr-old Babyliss, which was more expensive but so worth it in my opinion. Super disappointed.

  Thanks for posting an honest opinion. I was debating on replacing my older chi with this. Might hold off.

   I ordered one yesterday and it came in the mail today.. I have a Conair straightener to compare to this. I used it on my hair and it really doesn’t get that hot at all, had it cracked all the way up to 450. Passed it thru hair 3 times and got it all straight, wouldn’t purchase again though.

   This thing is awful!! Used mine maybe 3 times. Catches and pulls your hair the ENTIRE way down and leaves it frizzy and not smooth at all. Going back to my Chi!
