Collin—You saved Christmas!!!! I have been trying to find a great deal on this! My 8 year old is struggling at school, has a gamut of fun “issues” that make him super special. This is what they use at school, and I have been trying to find this so we can bridge home and school and keep things consistent. Lenovo bought IBM several years ago. IME they make a quality product. My son and I have Lenovo laptops and we’re very happy with them.
I was issued a Lenovo at work 4 years ago, and it’s still ticking along with much abuse over the years. I was so impressed that 2 years ago I purchased one for my personal use. The Solid State Drive is great as it is basically a gianormous USB stick, so nothing to break or go bad like legacy Hard Drives, and it allows the computer to boot up in seconds!!! Though I am not familiar with this model, the brand is a quality one!
I’ve had my Think Pad for over five years and it’s still ticking! The Web browser runs a bit slow at times but that’s probably because I have Pinterest, Ebates, and the Swagbutton running constantly in the background. I’ve played a few games on it and they all ran well.
Is there a difference between a Thinkpad and a Laptop? if so, what is it? trying to make a decision?
