Can this be used with the Infinity 3.0? We’ve already purchased the Star Wars Infinity 3.0 and I don’t really know how it works.
Yes, you can use all 1.0 and 2.0 figures in the 3.0 version.

All old characters can be used on the 3.0 system, but the 3.0 characters cannot be used on the old systems.

They can be used to play in the toy box but not on actual missions or whatever. My son has the 3.0 as well but since he doesn’t really understand the game we just get him whatever figures he wants to use for the toy box version. I don’t really understand it either but that’s what they explained to me at GameStop.

They all work together! They toy boxes on 3.0 work with all previous characters. The character specific games can only play with those characters. You can’t play with Mickey IN the Star Wars game but you can use him in the new 3.0 toybox. We have a “slight” obsession and have everything from 1.0 or 2.0 and most 3.0 characters. Careful, it can suck you in!

I have no idea how this whole infinity thing works. I bought the toy box starter for $15 from best buy…im hoping these work with it as i just bought a bunch of them.
The “old” 1.0 and 2.0 characters can be used on the 3.0, but the new (Star Wars etc.) 3.0 can’t play on the 1.0 or 2.0. Hope that makes sense. This and skylanders are quite gimics and has sucked my son and husband in.

All figures can be used in the toy box. It’s kinda like free play…use whatever characters you want. However the play sets only work with certain figures…ex: Inside Out figures in the Inside Out play set; Star Wars figures in the Star Wars play set. Play sets are actual games with a strategy. If you’re confused, go to Best Buy and talk to a “gamer”. They’ll explain everything!
