Beware of raise.com they sold me a $50 GC that had $0 on it then didn’t want to refund full amount I paid (way less) so I filed a dispute with my CC company. Horrible experience and terrible customer service from that company!

I always compare the discounts I can get from buying discounted gift cards. Giftcardgranny.com shows you the gift card site to get the highest discount, I have saved so much by doing this. Sometimes these bonus cards are a better deal, but it’s good to check the site and purchase an egift card right before you eat somewhere. For example, I buy a $50 Red Lobster gift card for $40, sign up for emails to get a free appetizer, and get dinner to go for 4 people for cheap! Just my frugal tip 🙂 Happy holidays everyone!

When I went in California Pizza Kitchen to buy gift cards for teachers the manager offered to give me 2 $10 bonus cards if I bought $75 in gift cards. Restaurant managers can do that at their discretion (I have been in the restaurant industry for over a decade) and the closer it gets to Christmas the more likely they are to give you an even better deal with the bonus cards than advertised. It’s always worth asking!

Culver’s Restaurant gives you a card for a free Value Meal when you purchase a $25 gift card. Value meals can cost around $8 so a pretty good return on your money.
I found out last year that when you redeem your free value meal, you can get it with triple the meat which usually costs over $9.

it is just like sending away for the Victoria’s Secret SRC thing – you can mail them a post card with your name, address and email address and they will send you one via email — it started in October and goes until Jan 4th ( I think ) – I just found out about it a couple weeks ago and bought 10 post cards to send (one per day, though the rules NEVER mention how many you can send or at what frequency, but people said they were sending one per day and getting them so I decided to try too)
