I know I have one too I was wanting to trade in 😣

How long do you have to use the credit?

Is everyone still using the Kindle’s? I wanted one when they came out but decided against them. Did the price of digital books go down as well?

Yeah, the one for less than $50.00 was mega popular. I use my Kindle Fire. You can find some good deals on books, but getting Amazon Prime or that new Book Prime gets you even more free reads. Otherwise, look to pay around the same price as a book.

You can try to see if you like Kindle by getting the free app you can download to your cell, laptop or computer.

I just bought my husband a new kindle (Fire HD 6) because it was the only way I could find to get him the out-of-print rare book he wanted for christmas. He loves it! It’s just much more relaxing than reading on a smartphone screen, because it won’t ring or beep or block the screen with pop-up texts + notifications. Also, most local libraries have many, many titles available to check out for free and they work on kindles very well. And if you happen to have Amazon Prime, you get to borrow from their Kindle Owners Lending Library once a month. I had a kindle a couple of years ago, but sold it when I bought my phablet (giant smartphone), and never thought I’d buy another. But it’s not the same thing and I see the value of Kindles now!

I have bought only a handful of ebooks in the 6 years since I got a Nook
To start reading ebooks on. My library has massive amounts of ebooks to borrow and I never have to leave my home to get them or pay late fees.

I check out digital books from the library and read them on my Kindle. So much easier than going to the library. You might want to check and see if your local library has that option.

Awesome. I have an old non touch kindle that I got years ago from Cowboom for about $20. I just got a new b&w for Christmas so I don’t have any use for it.

      Cool!

LOL, who in their right mind would trade in a working Kindle for $5? If I had to get rid of the Kindle I bought in 2008, I’d give it to someone who could use it. Still perfectly cromulent.
