I googled opinions of this company and the majority were very negative. Anyone here have first hand experiences with them? There were a lot of complaints about shipping times,listed books that became OOS and the condition the books were in. I don’t expect a like new book, but the reviews as to the issues with the books people received is making me think twice.

I have bought from them numerous times and have always had a good experience. 90% of the books or movies I’ve ordered have been giftable quality. The other 10% had creasing or the plastic removed from movie case. The shipping can take up to 2 weeks and if you order more than one item, they tend to ship separately. I used to order the majority of my used books on abebooks.com or Amazon but liked Hastings so well, I switched.
That’s my worry, if I order 10 books, what are the odds that I’ll get 10 different boxes at my door?

GoHastings has a pretty big eBay presence. I am familiar with them selling DVDs, but now it seems they sell a little of everything. I am picky about my books, so I tend to stay away from bulk sellers who give vague condition descriptions.

Hastings used to be a brick and mortar Barnes-and-Noble-type store. I used to shop there in TN. I’ve bought stuff from gohastings through Amazon. Perfectly fine.

Ive been buying dvds from gohastings for years. Many times th e new ones come still shrinkwrapped!! Inabout 6 years, only twice have I gotten a kids dvd and it wont play. I called, they refunded me on the phone and told me to keep the item. Im a huge gohastings fan, especially when they do 40%off

Collin, I selected my books thru the link you posted, and I can see that code is being accepted, but the price doesn’t change. Bummer, were is no way to tell which book somehow doesn’t qualify.
