I think this is a poor choice of product name for a food item. soylent green? Charlton Heston. A little creepy lol

Yes. My thoughts exactly. Why would they name their product Soylent unless it was an April Fools day joke? I question their judgement. No thanks!

  29. elise

My hubby has actually been drinking this as his lunch for a few months now. We get the powder kind and he mixes up a pitcher and puts honey in it.

  30. Sol

    Hmmm I don’t know. It’s free for a reason.

  31. Ru

My husband just switched to these from the powder/pitcher kind. He says these taste WAY better. He lost 6 lbs this week. He replaces breakfast and lunch and has a normal dinner. It keeps him going and full all day long.

  32. Heather

    Got it thanks

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

      You’re welcome Heather!

  33. Mona

I remember the movie too (Soylent Green) and it really puts me off. Must be a crew of young folks that named this potion – ones that have never heard of the Soylent Green
movie. Thanks for the post though — much appreciated.

  34. perlis

    Thank u Collin!

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

      YW!

    • Matt

Everything is known to the State of California to cause cancer, birth defects, and reproductive harm. That’s honestly not hyperbole.

The product itself actually contains considerably less heavy metals than the meals it ostensibly replaces, and this should not be considered a knock against it.

No, I do not work for Soylent but I do use it.

      • Katrina

Hah! Yeah I’m pretty sure my lawn chairs cause cancer in California.

        • JA

The drywall in my house causes cancer in California. What do they build their houses with?

  35. Mina

OMG these comments are hilarious πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚!!!!! I would rather eat real, delicious but healthy food.

  36. B

It’s a nutritional supplement. Meaning it’s in addition to your normal diet. The name is a tongue in cheek kind of thing, meant to get people talking about the product. And it’s works. πŸ˜‰ I’m definitely trying!

  37. Christine P.

    Is it April already?

  38. Dany

If you Google Image Soylent Green, you will absolutely have a laugh at the tshirts available out there. Hysterical and now I want to see the movie again.

  39. Marilyn

I really needed to giggle today! For those of you who have not seen the movie, you need to see this cult classic. No wonder they are giving it away for free!

  40. Elizabeth M

    Ew!

  41. Ariana S

    Out of stock

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

      Bummer πŸ™

  42. Dan

The site says they are out of stock. Better luck next time, and earlier.

  43. Briana

    Lol, it’s this for real?

  44. Hill

They probably shouldn’t have named it soylent- lol

  45. Sarah H

As poorly named as Wen, which is actually a boil or cyst, especially on the scalp.

  46. Vicki

    Received mine thank you
