My local dollar tree always has Colgate toothpaste …it’s always $1.00 so $0.50 always !!

Melissa, Be sure the box says made in USA not made in Mexico. Dollar Tree is known to sell Colgate made in Mexico. Wanted to pass this info onto you.

      • Jamie

What is wrong with the Colgate made in Mexico?

        • JenniferS

My personal preference. I recently noticed this on a trip to Dollar Tree and thought others would like to know this too.

I think it has something to do with fluoride level in water in different countries. Made in USA made for USA 🙂

Has anyone had any issues recently with cvs not accepting black and white printed coupons? I tried to use my coupons last time and the cashier wouldn’t take them, stating that they are now getting more strict since they can be photocopies. I don’t see anything about it in the cvs coupon policy, and was wondering if anyone had a similar experience. I don’t have a colored printer, so….

I haven’t had any problems. It’s the only way I print coupons. I could do color but there’s no point. Also, photocopies could be made in color so that theory really makes no sense.

Each store is slightly different depending on the attention they get from loss prevention. At one store, the cashier stared at my insert coupon for the longest time and looked to one side, as if to check a fraud list. In the end, he scanned it without any issues. Next time, try another store or just another cashier.

“…the cashier wouldn’t take them, stating that they are now getting more strict…” LOL they always make me laugh with the “getting more strict” business! A dead give-away the cashier is making things up.

  3. NolaGirl

The cashier’s definitely making up his own rules. Call customer service, and mention that you had a problem. They’ll get it straightened out. It also seems the cashiers isn’t aware this is the 21st century and there are color copiers too.

    • Shanshan

LOL good one on the “21st centery”. 😀

What’s the Big Win Plenti Points? Is it different from regular Plenti points?

  5. Newbie :)

This may be a dumb question but I’m new to couponing… What is the Magic coupon machine?

    • Kristi

It’s the Big Red kiosk/price scanner looking thing inside CVS. It’s near where you walk in. You scan your CVS card and every week it prints a few CVS coupons. Sometimes they are high value ones like this Colgate $2.50 off coupon.
