It beeped for me and the clerk said it is only for Valentines products and won’t work on the theater candy.
Worked for me on theater M&Ms at my Walgreens
I had the same experience. Told me the picture was for the bags and that’s what it’s supposed to be used on. Since when do they go by the picture?

I don’t think it would work on the theater box sizes of M&M’s – doesn’t the coupon state valentine’s
It doesn’t say anything Valentine’s on it, just ANY (2) 2 oz or larger products. I used mine at Target at they went through with no issues.
It didn’t work for me either . Cashier said it was valentines candy and I tried telling her that it was good , it just suggests Valentines candy
I used this on the 59¢ Mars Candy at Wags, last week and didn’t beep even though it was under 2 oz.
Going to use it at Rite Aid, 2/07.
