Does anyone have these? Are they decent quality? The amazon reviews are mixed. My daughter wants a pair of uggs but the price makes me say ugh!

    • Ashley

Definitely not the same quality as UGGS

    • Kel

I bought some beach feet boots from Tillys.com and I am super happy with them. Your daugher might like those. I am glad I didn’t spend the money on Uggs.

    • Melissa

I just got a couple pairs- I really like them, I’m sure they aren’t as nice as uggs but they’re a similar style and comfy!

    • Whitney

Go to ROSS! I got a pair of Bear Paw “UGGS” for $34.99 (they’re $74.99 online) there a few months ago and they’re awesome. It’s a high-end brand. Maybe not equivalent to UGGS but reviews online said some who had both preferred the Bear Paw to their UGGS. I previously wore the fake Target UGGS which didn’t keep my feet dry in the NYC snow 2 years ago but still work OK in FL where I live. Hope that helps!

      • Alyssa

When I got my bear paws several years ago, the sales lady told me they’re made by the same people as uggs. Could be a case of the brand names making the “generics” too, or she was pulling my leg lol. Either way, I’ve had my pair for 5 or 6 years and they’re still great! I just waterproof them ever year and don’t wade through snow in them

        • Whitney

Oh that would be interesting if UGGS made Bear Paws, too. I love mine, they’re so comfy. My only complaint (not of the brand but just of me) is that bec you wear them bare-footed, the fluffy sheepskin lining gathers under my toes and therefore causes like a ridge of material after a few wears. Anyone know how to avoid this with this kind of boot lining?

          • Cee

Avoid by wearing socks, even if that means just thin knee-highs. People tend to wear these kinds of boots/shoes barefoot, but you really shouldn’t. The warm, moist environment inside this type of footwear is perfect for bacterial growth, a lesson I learned the hard way when I eventually developed a nasty toenail infection after wearing my sheepskin boots barefoot for years. The infection and a news report about the problem soon afterward changed my unhealthy and unsanitary ways. Socks will keep the lining fluff from piling up under your toes as well.

            • Whitney

I have a very strange thing in that my feet don’t sweat or even get moist (haute that word, lol). Idon’t think that would happen to me bit ya never know so thanks for the tip. Sorry to hear about your infection, wow! I meant to add to my original post that I’ve thought of wearing socks but even thin ones feel too thick in that plush lining the boots have. But now I wish I’d done that bec is only my right foot that seems to grip the sole lining inside.

      • Sarah

Thanks Whitney! I was looking for a deal on bear paws bc it sounds like they are good quality and are similar to uggs. I’ll check it out.

  2. Gail

I have had them and really liked them, really can’t see much difference between them and my Uggs.

    • Rosi

Great! I’ll give them a try. For those interested 20% top cash back and 10% ebates.

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Thanks for your review Gail! Good to know!

  3. Julie

Do sizes run slightly big? According to their measurement they do? Thanks

    • dblD-amber

Not sure about these. But in Uggs you should be size smaller as the padding inside will wear out and then fit comfortably

    • Melissa

They do – I normally wear a 7 and got an 8 in these and they fit well!

    • Heather C.

I think they run true to size. I ordered a pair a size up and they are too big for me. I normally wear an 8 and ordered a 9… Hth

  4. sara

This may be a silly question, but can they get wet? I live in the Chicagoland area lots of rain and snow.

  5. Regina Bradford

These are polyester (microfiber) boots! They are regular pricing these like they are suede and shearling! You can get cheap fake boots like these(without the name brand) for 10 bucks all day long! The sale price is even way too much! Haha

  6. Kris

Thanks! I’ve been looking for an animal friendly boot for winter. If you knew how Uggs and Bearpaw boots were made you wouldn’t be buying them. πŸ™

  7. FAYE

Thank you hip 2 save. I got the two pairs. Great price
