    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

      You’re so welcome Irene!

  3. Krystal

I’m new to coupling….what is the magic coupon machine?! Haha. Is it the thing at the register? And how to I use the coupon on that order?

    • Craig

Iys the kiosk instore that you swipe items and your card at.

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Hi Krystal! It is a red, tall machine at the front of the store where you can scan your store card to receive special coupons like the one listed above. Hope that helps!

I just got free coke and candybars with free manufacture coupons yesterday at CVS and they totally freaked out and were making all kinds of excuses not to let me use them.If I came in the store today with this deal they would probably ban me from the store!

    • Michelle

I feel so bad when i read that people have had bad experiences at their cvs… Mine is so good about helping me get the deals, pushing coupons through, using expired cvs coupons, ordering products and holding them for me… It is amazing when people treat each other the way they want treated… I think it starts with the store managers they are wonderful so the rest of the staff is too!!!!

      • Laura

        Mine too! Love my CVS

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Darn. Sorry to hear that Jean 🙁

    • Cathy

You’re not alone….Last night my Cvs manager told me they no longer take computer printed coupons. He stated people were just printing stacks of the same coupon. It has been problematic lately with cvs. I used to love them.

  5. jean

$3.99 -$4.00 = problems when coupon is more then price.

    • Melloddie

It’s actually in sales for $3.39 this week. All you need to do is get a filler, like the Cadbury egg for 0.99 and pay 0.38 oop while getting back 0.99 ECB

      • Jen

I thought the new system would not allow for overage at CVS, am I wrong?

        • Marie

For me this morning MQ was adjusted down to meet sale price so no overage which is fine.

          • Jen

            Good to know. Thanks Marie.

          • Melloddie

I just did the deal, took both $2 off so overage still applied. Hope that helps

        • mel

Jen, CVS registers will not allow over when using Manuf Coupons. I used $1 store coupons on $0.99 items and gotten the full value deducted. When you stack a Store with a Manuf, both *should* apply, unless you have a cashier that nit picks and adj down. Overage is not a given though, so I just go with flow. If the cashier adj down, no biggie. But score for me if both go through, so my OOP is less!

        • Sarah

That’s what they told me (in a not friendly way!) yesterday.

      • jean

Fillers won’t work at my store. They say “You can’t get what you didm’t pay for”( when trying to use a filler for the coupon over balance). This store examines every coupon and product prices before scanning anything looking for reasons to deny you. I hate our CVS.

        • Sarah

Yeah, it’s starting to be not worth it to me to deal with the stress of them making you feel bad for using coupons.

  6. mommyto2

And there was a $1.00 colgate coupon i was able to send to my card from the app and use with the coupon from the machine.

    • Zak

Is it possible to stack apponly coupon with red machine coupon???

    • Mel

You can’t use 2 store coupons on the same item . The register will flag it, so your cashier probably overrode it.

      • Zak

        Thanks.

  7. grin3

If I go back another day, will it print out another coupon? Or do I need to go to another store.

    • mel

No, it’s a one time only coupon.

  8. Elisha

Does anyone know if the cvs coupon machine will print me the $2 off colgate coupon if I go into the store tomorrow ?
    Thank you guys

    • mel

It’ll print any day you scan your card, up til Saturday!

  9. s

So has anyone tried the above deal and its worked?

    • Tarri

My store had the toothpaste for 3.39, used both $2mq and $2cvs q from machine with no problem.

  10. Zak

Bought the toothpaste $3.39 + a $.99 egg, I used a $1.50 apponly coupon + $2 mnf coupon!!!both of them didn’t scan but the cashier was nice enough to type them for me !!paid $.88+$.30 taxes!!ooooof it was a really hard time for a 4 oz toothpaste!!

  11. Nancy

bought 1 colgate toothpase 3.99 and 1 optic white toothpaste 3.99 . used 2/ $2 off mfc coupon. 2 off cvs coupon center. 2 off cvs coupon optic white. all free pay tax only.

    • Cez

Is the store q Colgate Max & printable can combine? Does it work? TIA!

  12. Rachel

I just got back from CVS and I bought my toothpaste and 1 Cadbury egg (YUM!) since it was buy one for $.99 and get 1 $.99 eb. My toothpaste ended up being on sale for $3.39 so this deal was a money maker of $.61 AND I found a penny in the parking lot..;)
