These are amazing! We have 5 (yes, 5!) of these. 3 outside in the winter for the barn cats… the spoiled spoiled barn cats, and 2 inside. The inside ones tend to be commandeered by my jack Russell as often as by an actual cat.

We got one of these and our cat practically lived in it for about three months — even choosing it over our bed. All of a sudden, she will not even consider going near it. We would love to get her back in it so we can get better sleep at night. Anyone out there with a Ph.D. in feline psychology?!
No.. LOL… but you could consider sprinkling just a small amount of catnip in it. Maybe that will spark interest.
Have you tried washing it? Cats don’t like certain smells and textures like if it’s sticky. I had a cat that refused her kitty bed on the floor but when I moved it up high she loved it.
We had three heated pads from this company and they all started to overheat after a period of time. Glad we checked them regularly. Our cat Absolutely loved them but we didn’t want to risk hurting him. Bought a nice sunbeam pad from pet smart and have had no problems with it overheating like the K&H ones.
I have a single-cat size and my cats would use it stacked–one on top of the other. So I bought a bigger size that they could both fit in. And they refuse to use it so it’s become their “toy basket.”
