i didn’t know it didn’t include the Fire until i sent in my old Kindle Touch for a trade in. Customer service was awesome and applied the $20 credit for me anyway.

I did this a couple months ago and got the kindle white. Not a bad deal if you want to get a newer model.

Does anyone know if the $20 credit towards a Kindle expires?

The bonus expires on May 31st.

      • Lolita

        Thanks!

I did this a few weeks ago! I got $30 for my use kindle and the $20 credit. I got the kindle kids bundle for just $29.99 out of pocket. Excellent upgrade.

    • Miriam

Did u mean you got the the kids’ bundle (the post Colin posted a few days ago; 2 kindles) for that price?

      • Leigh

Yes, I got the kid’s bundle for $29.99 – it was on sale for $79.99 and I had the $30 gift card and the $20 credit towards a kindle purchase. It’s a great little ereader, and not just for kids. I’m in grad school and I use it to hold my textbooks and my romance novels, you know you balance 😉

Can we keep the $50 for using it on something else at amazon or can I only use it for another kindly?

    • Ashley

The $20 bonus can only be used for Kindle, Kindle Paperwhite, Kindle Voyage, or Kindle for Kids Bundle.

      • Poppy

        Thanks Ashley!

  8. Jennifer

Wonder why they don’t do kindle fire trade-ins? I would do mine if they did.

    • Gretchen

ME too! Oh what to do with a broken Kindle fire! I called customer service and they said they would give me a discount on a new one, but it was still going to be around $100.
