I’m not asking for a coupon but I’m wondering where people get them. I thought I would get some in the AG catalogs. However, I’ve been receiving the receiving the catalogs for over a year now and there are never any coupons.
I just got off of the phone with a representative and she said that not catalogs had the codes, it was mostly for girls who’s birthday fell around this catalog distribution.
My daughters birthday is in November and I got a code in this catalog.

My almost 6 year old has just recently fallen in love with American Girl dolls because of her friend. I am tying to teach her now about the value of a dollar and also that we can’t get everything we think we want. She has all of her needs met, a loving home, and plenty of toys. It sickens me to think of scrimping and saving on groceries, household needs, etc , and then shelling out hundreds for a doll and its accessories. Even the sale prices are outrageous. The look alike brands are just as nice. I can’t understand why people are still indulging in the AG brand. We have created a generation of spoiled children. 😣
I buy them for the quality. They are a very special gift in our family and our daughter knows that. We buy accessories from target and places that make things for 18″ dolls but I can definitely see why people order from AG. I don’t think it makes a child spoiled to have nice things as long as you teach them to be thankful for them and care for them.

Just because my daughter has an American girl doll does not mean she is spoiled or that we do not teach her to be responsible with money. What you decide to purchase is your choice.
