Does anyone have a customer service number for discount mags. I ordered a magazine subscription on December 5th and they kept changing the time it would arrive. Now the scheduled time of Feb27th has passed and after several email inquires. …still no magazine 🙁 Anyone with tips on how to get them to actually deliver the magazine please comment! Thanks!

Discountmags doesn’t send out ur magazines they fulfill ur order and send it on to the publishers so they can get the magazines to u so i.e. If u order a better homes and garden magazine it is published by mederith and they are the ones who will have ur order and be able to get a start date for the magazine

I realize that Discount Magazines only takes your order and sends it on to the publisher but there are a couple of things to keep it mind. Discount is a for profit company. If they charge you $10 for a subscription they are passing along your order at a lower price. This is how they make money. You pay them $10 to take your order and let’s say that the publisher only charges them $7 for the order. The difference between what they charge and what they pay the publisher is where their profit is. This is only very fair and part of the American way. They have bills to pay, computer servers, data charges, employees to pay and so forth. They have to charge more and pay less to the publisher in order to stay in business. I have no problem with that because of the former owner of a computer company I totally understand. That is why I am the former owner. I grew at such a huge rate, from one employ to 35 in less than a year. I think the one thing that is why was my customer service. I damn sure that I never had any voice mail to answer the phone. I had customers from around the globe, probably a dozen different time zones, and everyone got the same level of service as someone down the street from me. I sold the company at a very large profit and I finally got some sleep.
Did you notice the first few lines of my post? The lady in question paid Discount Magazines for the subscription and not the publisher. It is totally their business to ensure that the order is fulfilled because they took the money. It is comments like this that I have seen all over the web that stops me from doing business with them. Until I start seeing happy posts with Discount Magazines I will find other places to spend my money. When you do a Google search you don’t realize just how much they are over other companies. It is sure worth a few minutes of my time to go to check out different websites when I was looking for a magazine I enjoy. It only takes a few seconds to do some simple math and find the same magazine, ESPN, to find one company that worked out to $1.31 an issue all the way to the company that I just used which worked out to be only .17 cents an issue. Yeah, that was worth 5 minutes of my time.
It is way past time for Discount Magazines to either get involved with the publisher or to refund your money. It is the one that you paid money to do their job. Not the publisher, I doubt that you even know who the publisher is. It is websites like this that warn you of sorry ass companies like Discount Magazines so that you can spend your money elsewhere.
