Ipsos I-Say: Take Surveys, Test Products & Earn Rewards (+ Hip2Save Reader’s Experiences)

As an Ipsos I-Say community member, you’ll have the opportunity to take surveys and earn rewards that can be redeemed for electronic gift cards (like Starbucks, Amazon, Target, Kohl’s, iTunes & many others), PayPal funds, Charity donations, prepaid Visa cards and more!
Most members receive surveys at least once each month with an average of about four per month, AND the more surveys you take, the more points you earn. In addition, many Ipsos members also have the chance to test new products and services before the general public! Sounds good to me!

This is definitely one of the better earning sites. I get anywhere from 1-4 surveys a day and the points adds up fairly quickly. I have redeemed quite a few Visa gift cards which can be used at various online and/or in stores. I have also gotten test products (full sizes) of shampoos, deodorants, household products, etc. At the end of each survey there is also a poll predictor where you have chance to win something as well. I have won that once as well.
I’ve been a member for a while but only started being active with it this year. I’ve earned $15. No products yet. But I do really enjoy it.
I’ve been a member of this site for years. I’ve had the opportunity to test out dishwashing detergent, paper towels, pet food, shampoo and conditioner, face wash, garbage bags, plastic sandwich bags, etc. On average, I redeem for a $10 Amazon gift card every month. They just lowered the point redeeming threshold, so that you can get $5 Amazon or Starbucks gift cards, too.

I signed up for this last time (5-6 weeks ago?) and it is terrible! Surveys say they are worth 45 points you answer 20 questions then they tell you not qualified and give you 5 points. This happened a good 15 times so I gave up, I never fully qualified for a survey. It would take forever to get a $5 Amazon code, not worth my time.

I had this same experience. I don’t bother with them anymore. I wonder if anyone else has had better luck.
You pretty much have to lie on those surveys to even qualify. That’s how a lot of people earn money from these sites.

I agree! I would spend several minutes answering a ton of questions only to be told I don’t qualify. After 3 days of going nowhere with it, questions after questions, I quit.

Nope. Waste of time. They email me everyday with surveys but once you take them and you’re halfway through, all of a sudden you don’t qualify. Dumb.
I agree with the other two reviews above. Not my fave site.
I love IPSOS! I have been with them for several years and have been able to test out all sorts of products. From high-end cosmetics to shampoo and food products. I have nothing but praise for them.
How do you get products to test out?

I’ve been a member for years and I really like it. There are times that I’ve spent more time on a survey than I would have liked to just get disqualified but that’s because the survey was full. Sometimes it can take me a few weeks to get to surveys in my inbox and then I know that the survey is probably going to be full.

I love I-Say! I get quite a few products to test, enjoy all the surveys and always cash in my points in November for gift cards to help lower my Christmas bills. Just this week alone I got a body wash and 5 mini perfumes to test out. You won’t always qualify for every survey but I receive so many invites every week that I’m happy sometimes to not qualify since I’m a member at 3-4 different survey sites and it keeps me busy during my tv time or before bed. And the time is worth it to me, I average about $300 combined in gift cards every year from the sites.

I adore IPSOS! I’ve tested tons of products (including a shampoo and conditioner I would kill to know the name of as it was the best I’ve ever used). While the whole process is frustrating, it’s not worse than any other site I belong to other than Pinecone. I get the same with them when it comes to the screen outs and I at least get something from IPSOS! The only thing I have a dim view of is their now practice of ‘finding you a survey’ instead of linking you straight to one and letting you screen out if you don’t qualify. That tends to make me slightly mental and snarl.

I have been with Ipsos for 3 years. Qualifying is frustrating. They do, however, payout immediately when you cash in your points.
