I think it just depends on the store/cashier. I have used coupons on free before but I don’t think that’s how the policy works.
They used to but not anymore. According to their coupon policy now, you cannot use a coupon on a free item.

I went this morning and using all the coupons mentioned in your Walgreens deals, bought 2 suavitels, 2 ziploc gallon bags, snickers crisper, and 2 fig newtons. Paid just under $12 but received $4.50 in rewards plus points. Thanks so much for highlighting the best deals each week!

Is there a limit on how many Snickers Crisper candy bags you can get per day? Could i buy 2 bags one day and another 2 the next day?
I don’t know who did this deal, but do they shop at Walgreens? Every single time I have ever shopped at Walgreens, they charged the higher price if I bought only 1 item. So it would be be $3.49 instead of $3. If you can get one for $3, more power to you!!
My walgreens account also had a $.50 clipped to card coupon on the puffs.
