I have been eyeing this. I might have to get it. I heard it’s amazing for baked potatos and oatmeal.

I bought one a month ago and I’m totally loving it! If you are on fence, go for it!!

Oh that’s awesome to hear! 🙂 Thanks much for the feedback.

It makes really good brown rice also. Sometimes I use it to make homemade yogurt. I recommend it!

      Yum! Thanks for sharing!

Heads up, this works slower than a regular pressure cooker so it takes longer to cook the same meal.

Thanks for the helpful review! Good to know!

One of the best purchases ever. I love mine and use it all the time. It’s great for so many things. Soup, beans, pasta, Mac n cheese, roasts, carnitas, potatoes, veggies, cheesecake! I could go on, but seriously it’s amazing.

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Wow! Happy to hear how many awesome foods this can make! Thanks for the great feedback!

I can see the price is worth it but is it the best price or should I wait for a better deal?

I bought one at SAMs last weekend for $40. Different brand but it looks identical and I love it.

I wrote about this below, but I’ve been using my Instant Pot for quite a while, and I had a generic version before that, and I recommend the Instant Pot at this price. It’s a phenomenal price. If you’re unsure and want to wait, they were on sale at around this price in December for a few days. You just have to watch blogs that might inform you.
BTW-Foodie bloggers rave and swear by the Instant Pot.

In my experience, I have found that the InstantPot brand is ideal compared to knockoffs if you’re looking for. High quality product that will last a long time. (Like a Vitamix versus a version of a Vitamix.). Often people can’t swing the original price and opt for a different version.

I LOVE my InstantPot and use it all the time. Someone commented that it takes them longer to cook things in it, which can happen when used incorrectly. An example of how well it works is, I make both broth in 4 or 8 hrs (Max) rathe than making it in a day or more.

If you’re looking for recipe ideas, how to use it, or on the fence about buying one, I recommend checking out the FB page Instant Pot Community. You can also Google recipes for recipe and use ideas.

Thanks for the helpful review Marie!

This is a great deal. I paid almost !00 for one on Amazon. And its great, no probllems with it at all. I had previously bought a Power Pot, which quit working just after the 60 day warranty was up

This is a great deal. I paid about 100 for the same pot on Amazon. Works great, easy to use. SO much better than the Power Pressure Cooker, which quit working just after the warranty expired.

Is this model also a pressure cooker? I didn’t see that option on the control panel, but the description (from Walmart) says it is.
