Well since she Did start it.. I hope you realize if you let your child go into a public restroom alone, they can be assaulted by either sex in either bathroom, right? Transgendered should not automatically be labeled as sex offenders!
No one EVER said that transgender people are sex offenders. No one is afraid of the actual transgender people…. The fear is that a man who gets his jollies off on little girls will simply say that he is a transgender so that he can go into the bathroom in hopes of seeing or victimizing little girls or a man could say that he is transgender in hopes of finding himself alone in the bathroom with a woman and sexually assaulting her. I am not saying this to argue either side, and I am not personally boycotting target. But people have to understand that NO ONE (or at least no one that I have heard or read about) is saying that they think a transgender person is a sex offender. And my guess is that if there was some magical way to see if a man walking into the woman’s bathroom truely was transgender, then no one would care of he went in. But this is real life. Unicorns don’t fart rainbows and people do lie, especially people who are already morally corrupt enough to be a pedophile or a rapist. My apologies to anyone who is reading this and thing “dear Lord, I am just here to find food deals” because I agree that this is what this site is for, not for discussing hot button topics. But since it was already brought up I couldn’t bring myself to keep scrolling. I just wish that people that are for the right for transgender people to use either bathroom would listen to the people that are against it at least long enough to hear what it is that they are against. Most of them are just concerned about the things I mentioned above and not trying to be hateful towards anyone except pedophiles and rapist and I think that we can all agree that it’s okay to be hateful towards them. Just because you don’t agree with someone’s opinion doesn’t mean that you should close your ears and your mind and not even listen to what their opinion actually is. How can you say that you disagree with someone if you haven’t even listened to what it is that they are saying?
