I know! I usually ask my DH to stop on the way home during these promos.
3-5p is their slowest time, so it makes sense to try and boost sales then instead of overloading morning or lunch rush.

Target locations ?
My Target starts today, but my stand alone Starbucks doesn’t until Thursday. The stand alone has the half off offer currently running until then for cardholders only. They also extended the “make a purchase, get automatic gold status” until May 10th. My head was spinning yesterday! All I wanted was a cheap frap! Btw, the birthday cake frap doesn’t have the raspberry whip this year. Its just pink colored.😭

I tried it today and found it overly sweet. Even my 6 year old said it was very sweet, and kids are usually all about sugar! Lol

My daughter works at Starbucks says the Carmel is very good but really sweet, a lot of Carmel swirl, I said bring me one with a shot I need caffeine too.
When a frapp has been too sweet for me in the past or I need the extra caffeine, I’ll order an extra shot of frapp roast. Similar to getting an extra shot of espresso in a latte – cuts the sweetness & ups the caffeine voltage! 😉
My Target will not honor the happy hour but did have the cartwheel promo for 25% off and also did not have the Birthday frappuccino (the recipe was somewhere) a few other items like smoothies were crossed off the menu because they ran out. I’m annoyed this happens a lot at this location.
The 25% cartwheel ended yesterday for me. I’ve noticed the Target Sbux can be hit on miss on the promos.
I agree about the Target locations. (I’ve been to a few Meijer ones & they are nice) Our local Target Sbux is literally across the parking lot from the actual Sbux & doesn’t have the S’mores frapps or the 50% (I do notice cartwheels on occasion) though I have noticed they are 30-50 cents cheaper for their drinks on average vs the regular store. They are also constantly running out of supplies & have had the health dept tell them not to sell the food in the display case due to fly & gnat infestations. Across the parking lot to the real Sbux it is! (Loving the 50% off esp right when the s’mores ones have come out again this year! I love them!!)

Has anyone tried the birthday cake frappe?
My 8 year son loved it. It doesn’t have coffee. It is Vanilla Bean with hazelnut flavoring and pink whipped cream.
