Is this available for existing members, extending their membership?
During one of the last promotions, my husband and I traded the primary member to get the deal. Also we now have an online card and our deals were listed under savings in our account. Good luck!
I joined Sam’s Club during the last promotion (February 8-21) online and did not receive the items. I have been communicating with Sam’s Club to no avail in receiving the promotion items. My suggestion is to go to the Sam’s Club in person to make sure you get the promotion items.
That happened to me about a year ago. Once I threatened to cancel the membership they magically sent my items.

I just called my local store and said “Hi, I’m currently a member but my membership is getting ready to expire. I saw online that there is a promotion where you can join for $45. If I buy the promotion now can I bring it in and use it after my membership expires?” She said yes. lol… I hope she truly knows.
I did this a couple years ago. I waited until after my membership expired and then went to my store to renew. I had no problems but again that was a couple years ago. I think it was a zulily deal too.
Ok, so I went ahead through the check out process and it let me buy it and gave me a new membership #. It just says to come in with my photo ID and pick up my membership card so hopefully they don’t even notice that I ever had a previous membership lol. The new membership started today, not like last time when I bought a groupon and had to take it into the store to redeem it. My membership was going to expire within a month anyway so this is perfect!
Soooo tempted. But shopping at Sam’s doesn’t save me any money. It’s always $200-300 before I’m out the door 😁

Yes, it asks if you want to add a extra person.
I just checked out and it asked if I wanted another member card for FREE.
I read the entire disclaimer and it doesn’t say anywhere in it that new or existing customers are NOT eligible for this promotion. I am very tempted to try it out, as I’m a plus member, however my membership expires in August.
Has any current member tried this deal and it worked for them?
Update: just got off the phone with Sam’s Club 1-800 customer service. It is ONLY for new customers. Bummer. 🙁
Several have commented that they change the primary account holders name and it works even if you have an existing account. For example right now I’m the primary and my husband is the secondary so when we do this deal I’m putting his info in as the member and I’ll use the secondary card they offer.

We renewed our plus membership (used deal last year) & received $25 off as we used our Discover Card.

I went in store with my groupon and they gave me vouchers and the gift card
I signed up, but when I logged online, it shows I have a regular membership, not the plus one. Anyone know how to get the plus membership free upgrade, the gift card and the free coupons? Do we have to do it all in the store?
Ok, so I just called their 800 number and she said it will take three days, but all of the offers will be loaded to our card and the e gift card will be sent via email. Fingers crossed it shows up in 3 days!

I’m trying to cancel. They are not honoring this deal. They are saying that the only deal they have like this would be thru groupon.

it takes 72 hrs for the plus membership and all other items to be added to your card.
I just received an email and they are saying that it had to be used through groupon to get these offers and that this deal expired in 2015. Im so pissed…
But the date on this site says it expires May 23, 2016?
Yes it does I just got off the phone with customer service and they claim it will load on the card in 24-48 hours and if not to call back 😑
