We have this exact item and it works great. It is light and small….we take ours along with us on travel. While the ‘ole bathroom scale trick works great when we are home, sometimes our items get mingled among our luggage during our trip and added to (souvenirs), so I like that this helps me from being one of those people frantically shifting items among suitcases at bag drop off. We bought this last year and this scale is right on the money. With Spirit airlines only allowing 40 pounds per bag and we like to share a bag on short trip, this thing is a lifesaver.
