I don’t thank the Minions funnites, but I have other fun bite cutters. IHO, they are great for fruit and dry toast, but sandwiches like PBJ are out of the question…you’ll spend awhile soaking & cleaning the cracks to get the food residue off (even before you run it through the dishwasher). In hindsight, it’s kinda a no brainer not to use sticky foods in the cutter, but I’ve still made that mistake more than once. Looking at the Minions cutter, it’s ok, but I’d stick to classic fun bite shapes for cleaning and also better use of shapes…if that makes sense.

I am just imagining how much food is wasted with gimmicks like this – I do not believe I’d ever buy one for this very reason!
We have all the other Fun Bites and I think they are awesome and so do my boys! I have one really picky eater and at 4 yrs old this helps him to be excited about eating. I disagree with above poster, I think cleaning them is super easy – top rack of my dishwasher and even all the peanut butter comes off without any extra work from me. I do still rip off sections of “good food” and throw on my kids plate that the cutter didn’t reach, so I’m not wasting anything. We’ve had these for about 2.5 years and they still look and work like brand new!
